Framing Amy is a pop/rock band that I just kind of happened to stumble upon listening to because I was sitting at the same stage for 10 hours waiting to see Michelle Branch, LOL.
I was very impressed with their music and decided to go find out a little bit more about them and share it with you all.
Framing Amy is an independent band that was formed in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1994 and has 2 independent CD releases, I Have Spoken and Eureka Phenom. They took a year off but are back now and are working on their third CD, which I couldn't find a title for at this point. In the past they have opened for: Lilith Fair, Sarah McLachlan, Paula Cole, The BoDeans, Third Eye Blind, Sister Hazel, Tonic, Semisonic, 10,000 Maniacs, Train, and Blessid Union of Souls.
I was going to buy their CD's at the show because they were doing a signing after their set, but I had essentially no $$$ on me and the merch tent was WAY at the back, and I wasn't about to fight the teenyboppers to get to the tent and back, so I will probably go buy them on Monday at a local record store.
Their double set went pretty fast and I didn't get to catch a lot of the song names, but one song I did catch that I really liked was "Heaven Knows".

I found this kinda cool. As some of you know, I have been trying to pimp Framing Amy and such, and I have had some lyrics and that up on my UWM Website. Well, I got this in my E-Mail box today from the FramingAmy E-Mail address.

Hi Brian,
I just want to say THANKS for liking my lyrics and posting them on your

Sincerely,

just listened to the album
It's pretty cool.
I thought it was quite good to start out... but then it just kept going... and going... and the last song scares me. lol
So it is cool, but I'm a lil mixed on it too.

LOL. Well some of the songs I was really feeling to start with, then I had to listen to some of the others and let them grow on me. I'm glad you gave it a try though :D.

I was just looking through CD Baby.com and I saw they had a copy of the first Framing Amy CD, I Have Spoken, in stock so I decided to buy it.
