it's all the humidity....it's like it sucks the mosquitos (spelled right?) on to your body.....*shudders*.....it's the same way here. the other night i was outsited for all of five minutes and got 18 bugbites....oh yess, it's wonderful

Try Georgia. Whoever said it was the humidity was right... and Georgia is the humidity capital of the world. Bugs are outrageous here.

Except, the part of KY that's RIGHT to the left of Virginia sucks ass. It's all nasty and factory-y and . . . ugh. Virginia is the never ending state, too! It's like, you're driving in Virginia, and 7 hours later you're still driving in Virginia. It's terrible.

ha, you've obviously never driven through Pennsylvania. i admit, VA is pretty boring, but at least there are hills and things to look at.....PA is a whole lot of nothing for four, long, monotonous (spelled?) hours......bleh

i was just in Virginia on Saturday :-) it was pretty from the car but when i got out WOOOH it was hot.. my aunt got a mosquito bite i think and by the time we were on the plane it was huge. lol.

georgia is much worse.
i was playing paintball one day with some friends, and looked around and it was like this 2 foot cloud of mosquitos. naturally, i ran out of the ditchi was hiding in and promptly got nailed in the head with a paintball.
and i haven't been the same since.

The best thing about Louisville is that we are DEAD center between Northern weather and southern weather. We got some heat (95-100), but not too much. We get some bugs, but not too many. We get snow, but not enough to completely halt all movement. It's pretty humid, but not unbearable. The tornados are a bitch, but its ever worse through TN and GA.
We get the best and the worst of all climates, but none of them to the extremes. Except we have the best springs EVER! It's a lot like St Louis and KC and other midwest towns. Very average weather.

Of course I've driven through Pennsylvania! Everyone's driven through PA! We had to drive through Pennsylvania to get to DC from my Aunt's house in Ohio. Alliance, OH, to be exact. (Alliance is in NORTH-eastern Ohio.) It wasn't too bad. 'Cause it was raining, and I'm fascinated by rain while I'm in the car, for some reason. You always gotta look at the drops of rain going down your window and see which one hits the end of the window first and splashes and dies.
The trip home was the worst 'cause it was hot and the batteries in my CD player died and Grandmother was with us so we couldn't turn the radio on. Jesus! What's with old people and music?
That was last year.
