I just wanted to know how to make it.....I put it on top of a sample pancake actaully but just to check it out...don't usely put chocolate syrup on pancakes...

hmmm........well I'm a little droggy right now but one thing I was thinking was to show lurkers and others that we are voting. i mean you have different type of people and most people won't vote untill they think they have a winner or something. Some of the people on the board will vote regardless, and if we show others by posting that we are voting, other people will vote as some people will vote if they see that a group of people are voting...these two combined group --vanessa's fan base has grown quite a bit so --even if still small in comparison to other fan clubs, might get us to the next stage where she is on the count down. If we show that we are voting by posting it --the more the merrier, and she is on the count down, then a whole mob will follow....lol. this is in theory --my theory, anyway. If we were able to get ATM on the count down with such a small fan base as vanessa had then, then we should be able to get pretty baby on the count down now as long as the phone lines are not completely crammed the whole time of voting. Plus if I get off my rear and don't get a day job I'm going to go vote on several phones and that should help out alot as before the phone lines were completely crammed and busy it was making a difference.....
and when I say several phones I'm talking about 18+ seperate phones..two at a time...
that is just part of it....

Thats true. I bet a lot of people have the "I won't vote because she won't make it anyway" attitude. Also, when I was reading all the old posts from when you guys were trying to get ATM on the countdown it seemed to be well organised. Now all that really all that happens to organise the whole thing is a couple of reminder threads are bumped half an hour before (which is a good thing). Maybe that's because, like you mentioned, the threads with purpose rapidly dissapear with only one or two replies.
Only one more post to go ;O) The first NESSAholics.com PW. LOL (j/k of course).

well it wasn't so much me...i mean, I wasn't an active member back then..that is how small it was really...i came in toward the last part of a thousand miles and TRL I think.......I was more a big part of getting ordinary day to #1 actaully but, eh, whatever....
It is other people I think that say that the important threads are gone before you know it...
I think alot of people are anti-MTV so....I could care less about MTV...I can't even watch it here at home...LOL!....I've been voting for TRL for months and I don't think I've seen one second of MTV the whole time!
I've been away during the day during that time because actaully I need a break from the board and certain aspects of it for awhile, but when I return if I do I need some people's help.......I was doing less motivating people and more nagging it seemed to me so eh....whatever...I need a break and perspective on the situation....
ah.....those are my thoughts so far........
I love this board. I can actaully take time to write something...heh.....

Yeah me too. I've never seen TRL. It would be nice to see it one day though.
I've gotta run, got some UNI course work to do and I've gotta sort out my room because I'm getting another phone line in on Friday. Seeya later.

yeah, just for the record.....
I'm not against pointless threads. I'm agianst people who just seem to be against anything with purpose. It's fine to make pointless threads as long as you're there when duty calls. And you don't even have to do that....just don't get in the way of people who in there own way are just trying to accomplish something, even if you think it won't work. At least give support to your fellow nessaholics. But yeah we should try to work as a group.

That makes a lot of sense. It seems the great things in the past (ATR, TRL #1's etc.) were all accomplished by the hard work of many together. United is the only way.
