all these folks on MTV duets etc - claim to be such huge fans - but how come none of them have ever come on either board... esp the anastacia girl .... kinda bugs me --- xoxo

I think the people MTV pick aren't like "knowledgable" fans--but instead just the crazy stupid "oh my god It's Justin let me scream my heart out" kinda fans.
It makes for better television.

I've a HUGE DMB and Pearl Jam fan and I've never posted on either board. Though I have been on a few different mailing lists....
The reason I post on this board ISN'T that I'm a bigger VC fan than any other artist/band... it's because the people on this MB really attracted me more than any other.

i am a fan of other artist and i dont post regularly - but dont you think the girl that won duets and some others should stop bye and give a holla - and they never do --- it just peeves me - you dont have to be as active as the most of us over here are - but if you beat out like 100's of people to play piano and sing with nessa - i just expect a little hi on her board - i dont know.... whatever...

When I watched that duets show I thought it was funny that that girl didn't even know the words to the song. I think the boy should have won because he looked like he was a big fan and vanessa said that he was like the best one but why dind't she pick him? who knows. But that other girl that played that really hard piano peice was good. Honestly...I thought Aniscia had an annoying voice and shouldn't have won but I think they had to bring diveristy into picking one due to the fact that she was russian or whatever it would be a good choice for her to pick the one who isn't american. Just my thoughts.

Also, have you entertained the possibility that maybe they're not geeks? ;) - Not everyone spends a lot of time online doing pointless browsing. Some people go outside in the sun and look at fluffy bunnies. And stuff. Erm, yeah. Or something.

It would have been nice to hear from her..
but I'm sure there are reasons as to why she hasn't posted ( like somebody said above, she might not even know this board exists!)
I hope she knows just how lucky she is for having that amazing experience ;D
