From a South African article

Bonolo Thekiso from Botswana sang Pretty Baby by Vanessa Carlton. Not an easy song to do, and she did struggle a bit with it. But she did manage to pull it off in the end.

Dave thought she was very average and inconsistent, and shuddered about what Randall was going to say. Surprisingly, Randall censored himself and told her that the song's simplicity was it's beauty and the singer brings warmth to the song, which she didn't do. Gareth thought she looked beautiful on stage, but her performance left him wanting. Mara was very disappointed with the performance and felt it was too subtle.

wow.. pretty cool.. i mean they have professionals recommending music for them right.. so someone out there is pushing VC...  that's great news... :)

That's good publicity, I think. Is Vanessa already popular in South Africa?
