Title: I love learning words from other languages!!!!

My step sister was telling me about her friend who works at a resteraunt. Alot of his employees are Brizillian and they don't understand much english and if they do they translate it outloud for you to hear!! Well...a customer asked for a knife and he goes to his employee.... Can you get me a knife and she goes fucka? And he goes excuse me? And she goes....ohhhhh that means knife in Brizilian!! haha!! that was pretty funny!! Also...Banana mean homosexual guy I think!! Brizilians must laugh so hard when going to english speaking countries!! lol

Post by: rosieposy87 on August 03, 2003, 09:11:02 am: At our school you can learn loads of languages and if you learn german you have to learn literally pages of vocab each week of the most random words. My friends Debs (who did Latin) found it hillarious to write down these words and memorise them, she has pages of words such as 'to collect toy trains' and 'bus conductor' and 'to be run over'.

Keep workin on the French. It's a decent, but there is a lot more out there. And always a few errors to fix.
