BTW, a traditional ballad is a long song that tells a story. The Highwayman by Lorenna McKennett is a good example. Ehh.... I voted for Avril for lack of a better choice. So much for being pedantic.  :razz:

I voted Hero, mainly because that song reminds me of 9/11 so it holds a special place in my heart, especially after the few remixes done with new reporters and such intermixed.

really hard choice but I finally voted for
Avril Lavigne - I'm With You, its just a damn good song.

But I really dig all these too:
Enrique Iglesias - Hero (beautiful song, great piano riff. I love it too. My runner up)
Jessica & Nick - Where You Are (reminds me of Leelee cause shes in the video. RAWR)
Jewel - Break Me (its just cool)
John Mayer - Your Body Is A Wonderland (I loved this song!...until it was KILLED by radio, now I cant stand it)
