There's a band you all need to check out called Tonic!
Back in 1997 they had a huge hit called "If You Could Only See" which still gets played on Mix stations to this day. And in 1999 they had a big hit with "You Wanted More" which was on the American Pie Soundtrack. And now they just put out their third CD called "Head On Straight" and I kid you not, its in my top 5 list of CDs ever! I cant stop playing it.

If you get the chance, try and download "Tonic - Count On Me" which is by far the best song on the CD! Their first single from it is called "Take Me As I Am" which is good too, but radio is showing them no respect.
They have the best fan interaction I've seen with a band too! After shows they are always willing to hang around and talk to any fans, and for their online fans, they all have public emails which they all read regularly, and answer too most of the time! I mean how many artists actually do that??

ooh yes.  Tonic is a bunch of hot, sexy studmufifns!  I dig these guys very much.  Their song "Head on Straight" is probably my fav... the lyrics are incredibly cool and the overall sound is pretty spiffy.  Ayup, their other stuff is incredibly good as well.

I def want to see these guys in concert.

Edit: Okay, so that's downloaded. Love it :-D Next "Count on Me".

The lyrics so rock, and i love the live performance... the guy just makes singing that song look so effortless!  I totally dig it.  I've heard a bunch of other stuff, but i think i just have a soft spot for the lyrics :)

Hmmm, when I checked today HMV had one import copy of "head on straight" for £22.00 (over $30!)

Kev, Amazon are my last resort ever since they started shipping CDs in 2 foot X 1 foot boxes. The kind of box I have to go all the way to the post office to collect :-/ (hehe.. I'm a lazy ass, so sue me ;-))

I've been talking to Jeff(guitarist) and this is what he said about it.

"No, tonic is not officially over..  We are taking a break from tonic so we can do our respective solo and other projects..   We have been talking about making a new tonic record sometime next year, but who knows.."

*sigh of relief* They have way too much collective talent to call it quits.
