Title: thanks for all your submissions!!
Post by: Holly on September 21, 2003, 11:16:27 am: I'll give it to her tomorrow (12-6-03) in nyc! thankyou to everyone who contributed!!! :D

i made one over a year ago (started june, 2002), but i never got to give her one cause i never got to meet her till august and didnt have it with me... and i want to kinda make this one the same way.
1) a section for letters! how you love her music... your expriences about seeing her in concert or meeting her. whatever you want!
2) a section for drawings! picture you've drawn of Vanessa, or i thought a cool idea would be pictures of what her songs make you feel!
3) a section for poems. poems about her or how she insprired you or whatever.
4) pictures of you with her.

i still have the old scrap book and i will be putting letters and stuff from that in there too unless i get a new letter or something from the fans who sent me old stuff... then i can replace the old one if you wish. theyre really old tho... i started this one in June of 2002, lol.

i'll send it to her when i have enough stuff... so please send me things! you can pm me or email me at EvaNessaSync@aol.com
make sure i can print it out on an 8x11 sheet of paper... you can use more than one sheet of paper, but i'm bad at resizing things so i couldnt use it if it was too big.

hey John! yes, i am putting all the old letters in the scrap book! unless the person who wrote it wants it taken out or replaced with a new one...

i havent even written (Well updated from the last letter) my letter yet... i guess i'll do it on the plane! ive worked on it! but havent finished yet... i did make some cool borders tho (i'm insane when it comes to decorating borders, lol, ask anyone who ive written). i spend more time decorating than writing. i can spend up to 2 hours just decorating one sheet some time... what can i say? i'm a doodler, haha.

Oh, and those of you who are going on Saturday (12-6-03): if you'd like to... i'm making a scrapbook for Vanessa (see thread) and if you want to write a letter, poem, draw a picture, give me a picture... etc and give it to me there... let me know and i'll leave a place to put it in! handwritten letters and stuff would look cool in the scrapbook... just let me know first! all the letters are in plastic sheets and i need to have space.

I think she liked it!! and you may see it in the DVD. they filmed me talkin about it and then Gavin (a member of the camera crew) took it and filmed shots of some of the pages!
I handed it to her at the end and she was shocked. She immediatly started flipping through it and was like, "this is going to be my night right here!" so yay! she said she was going to read it last night. :)
at dinner, Gavin told me that she was flipping thru it backstage afterwards and really loved it! :D

That's great Holly!!! I know you put so much work and time into that book. I'm glad you were able to give it to her personally and not just hand it off to someone. I'm so happy for you!!!

ive thought about it that way too, so i agreed with him. I'm pretty close with alot of the people in my nessafamily, lol. and its nessa's music that brings us together.
but other then that, its just a silly little thing we did when we were bored, lol.

i'll start up a new one over christmas break, but i'm trying to think of a new layout, instead of the sections "letters", "poems", "drawings" and pictures". i'd put everything one person submits together... or i may do it the same as before, i dont know

maybe each person would have there little section that would have like:
front page with their picture on it (and decorated any way you want)
facts about the person such as where theyre from, how old, how long theyve been a nessa fan, favorite songs... etc!
a letter to vanessa
then they can put in poems/drawings/pictures they've taken of her etc.

and each section could be on their favorite colored paper? or whatever... i have lots of colored paper and paper with cool designs on it that i can use! i like that idea steph!!

hehe, i can use all the ideas i can get! let me know... and then when we get things finalized i'll make a new thread.

i could use help from people who are good with graphics who can like make a cover, it'd be cool if we can put a collage of all the people who submit things on the cover or something...

That way you won't spend a lot of your funds (scrapbooking can get expensive!) and people can put their own touches on their pages. I'm sure they'll be much more to add once VC2 is released and she starts to tour again!

If people can scan them and stuff and email them… I’d print them out like they’re sent to me, just send them in doc form. It really wouldn’t be that much of a cost to me since I already have the stuff, but yeah, people who could scan them would be great! And I know there are a few people who have my address, those people can mail them to me if they want… but I’m not going to give it out again, lol. Or people I see in person between now and the time I give it away could give it to me then.

I dont know how much time i'll have to work on it... i'll just wait till next time I see her and I have no idea when that'll be!
