Astronomy - Study of the heavenly bodies.
Herbology : Killers and Healers - The class in which we learn about botany and which will either kill/heal you.
Prisoner of Azkaban - Dissection - In depth debates over the third Harry Potter.
Veela Language - I love Fleur Delacour, so Veelan was a must-take! Great language. Bii!

I don't know...you'd be suprised...I was one of those people who hated harry potter until recently in school I have to read 75 pages in a pleasure reading book and my mom won't take me to the library to get a different book until I read all of our books...which is like 10000000 so I picked up one of the harry potters books and haven't really put it down... It's a great book!! It's like opening your mind to something fun and different. It's a really cool thing.

Neither have I, but it is VERY popular with intellectuals who are into the wizard and magic stuff. Among other things I just haven't been down to buy any of them.

Post by: Lucy-san on September 29, 2003, 07:40:43 pm: seriously even if you despised the movies or you hate the whole sorcery/fantasy theme, read it anyway...the first book is like a couple hundred pages, so you can get through it really quickly...and you probably will ;)...I'm only saying this for your own betterment

ive read a few of them, the first three i think......because i read them to my little brother and sister before they went to bed :D ...but sometime soon after the third book i moved out and i keep my reading to more advanced writers like piers anthony.....if you like the harry potter books and find them kinda plain, which i did, i seriously recommend him.

you have a right to reccomend anything you want! lol... and by the looks of harry potters sucess, a lot of people agree with you that its good
