Post by: eclv on October 04, 2003, 07:56:59 am: Cool show indeed. It is amazing to see the before and after of the person and their place. It is funny at the end, the commentary while they get ready and whatever event/party they are doing. The Fab 5 do great work.

It's funny how a haircut or some new clothes can change a person or make you feel better/more confident about yourself.

But what was the story about one of them not being gay? I heard the headline but never saw the story.

Post by: kaysha on October 06, 2003, 02:15:05 pm: Well, He was only going to go work on these projects for a while, then he was going to go back to Rent. Originally he left Rent for 6 months to work on Zanna, Don't!... Zanna Don't started in the middle of Feb, and closed end of June sometime. That left him a few months to work on other things, such as Queer Eye... to now, he hasn't gone back to Rent... i'm not sure if he is going to stay in Television, or instead bounce back to Rent... it's always been questioned on if Rent will stick around for another year, so i think he should probably take advantage of the Tv thing while he can.

edit, i also heard they extended Andy's contact till Dec or Jan tho, so i doubt Jai would come back to Rent till at least that point

he can sing. he sang on that episode where they made over the guy who wanted to sing a solo to his girl...Jai can sing...boy can he sing...good singer

You saw a rerun, my dear. That was, if I'm not mistaken, the second episode originally aired in July. Jai is so much better, no? ;)

How wonderful that we can all profess our love for Queer Eye here. When I first heard that this show was going to air I couldn't wait for the debut. It combines two of the things that love dearly and that is gay men and makeovers. Eeeeee! :blob:

From the first two episodes that aired back to back I was hooked. Alas, if only they would make me over. I need for them to find a little hovel somewhere in Manhattan that is super cheap and will look dazzling with new furniture and paint that they would of course provide. *sigh* I want me some Fab5.

I need new episodes ASAP. I will go into Queer Eye withdrawl if I don't get any soon! :crazyeyes:

Lucy-san, honey, your avatar is the best! I wish I had thought of that first. Only mine would have been the little bouncy guy with the big rain cloud over him (all pre-zoloft for the rest of you). Hah! :lol:

The video should be on vhi or mtv soon. The video was great. they showed the 30 minute making of it. :D I think Salome is the name of the female that sings for the 2 dj's that do the song for the show.

I was laughing so hard, and when they were watching him he put all this wasabi in his kids food, and Carson has this weird facial expression, a classic!!!
