He has to be better than Davis, the "pay for play," take credit for everything Governor. And getting into the power buisness was a no no.

Yeah, the main problem with Davis is he wants to put all the negative thoughts out of his mind. You can never think of bad things. So he chose to be stupid and ignorant. So all those problems in California he must have ignored, because they were bad thoughts. lol
Arnold is at least ambitious enough and doesn't choose to ignore things. Neither is a genius for sure though. We will see.

Arnold is not going to be "good" for CA. But he also won't be "bad". He's just gonna kinda be "there".
I mean, his political platform was based LARGELY on him doing 5 million things that cost a ton WITHOUT raising taxes? Come on. That unpossible!

i think Arnold will be a good govenor... cause i mean, look at his history:
he came to the US with $20 in his pocket, and now he's the top actor in america, won 2 or 3 mr universe compititions, he's richer and more sucessful than most of could ever hope to be, and he's govenor. i think thats pretty good... and if someone were to day that when he first got to the US, i'm sure we'd all think that was impossible too! but he showed he's capable of a lot, and can make what seems impossible possible, so i wouldnt write him off saying he's not fit to be govenor just because he's a movie star and that goes against the normal mold of the politician. he seems to really care about California and the people and have good intentions. i just think he's more capable of what alot of people are saying he is! it'll be interesting to watch what he does.
lol, it pisses me off how all these people are saying that they want to recall him already! how ignorant can you be to say that someone isnt doing his job well enough when he hasnt even started!

i think he isn't going to get anything accomplished that Davis wouldn't have gotten done. He can't really do anything without the legislature so people that think he can singlehandedly solve the state's ills aren't being realistic. I don't hate Arnold because he's not your typical Republican but I don't think people that didn't vote in the last election should have the right to undo what was done. It's the principle of the matter to me.

i dont think its possible to be unrealistic before you have any idea what the guy can do... i'm just saying from this guys past he seems like he'll be a good govenor. the guy hasnt even started yet, people need to give him a chance.
and when someone campaigns they say they'll do things and they say how they want to get things done, but dont always live up to them. and therefore, i think if they dont, the people should decide whether they want to keep the person in or not, and this time they decided to get them out. i dont think it was just the people who didnt vote who turned it around, i think it was also the people who changed their minds after they saw how Davis really worked in action.

Davis was govenor for 5 years.
The Democrats should be happy. At least McClintock didn't win. Arnold is probably the most liberal Republican I have ever seen. He supports abortion, gay issues, etc etc, while most Republicans will take a firm stance against those things, McClintock included.

I agree with you on that Trish. He ran basically as a democrat in the other party. I just think he's in for a rude awakening.
