Title: Skinny Puppy
Post by: Alecs on October 15, 2003, 02:00:15 pm
I always play their cd's around Halloween. Pretty trippy and spooky as well. The older stuff and the new stuff is scary as well. You'll be surprised if you've never listened to them.

I read this from a fan site recently about a complilation that cam out.

"it's unfortunate that their career had to end on the note that it did, but the affect that SKINNY PUPPY can already be seen by the tributes and post-mortem releases that are popping up. 'remix dys temper' is an album full of covers done by various artists ranging from KMFDM, AUTECHRE, DEFTONES, JOSH WINK, GOD LIVES UNDERWATER, as well as long time SKINNY PUPPY producer, ken marshall and W.E.L.T. collaborator, mark walk."

Ogre of Skinny Puppy did some work on the Descent II soundtrack, which kicks major ass.  I've never listened to their music though.  Perhaps I should give it a listen.
