Title: Antiques Roadshow
Post by: badsrx7 on October 15, 2003, 05:22:42 pm
Woah.. I love it.

I haven't been watching lately,
but I still love it.

I love when they bring something they bought at a garage sale for $5, and they appraise it for like $100,000..
I get all excited ;D

And it's extremely interesting.

aaaaaah my mom HATES those shows. she owns an antique business and she thinks it puts "ideas" in to peoples heads about where you can find antiques.....lol it's quite amusing to hear her rant about Martha Stewart "and her big fat mouth!"

IIIIII remember . . .

This one time, I was watching it, and there was this old guy who was on the verge of death, and he had this Indian blanket that had been lying on his couch for 40 + years, and he took it in there, and it was worth a quarter of a million dollars, and he started crying.

It reminded me of that one Samantha song, "Ironic."

An old man, turned 98,
He took his Indian blanket onto Antiques Roadshow,
And got $250,000.
