Title: who remember's the 80's?

i was born at end of 1985, so i really only had 4 years living in them, and since i was still watching Seseme Street at the time... i really dont remember much else about it! lol
but every year my school has a father/daughter dance and this year the theme is decades. frosh have 20's, sophs have 40's, junior's have 60's and seniors have 80's! and yeah... i have no idea what i should wear to show the 80's... so i need suggestions!

ooo! leg warmers...side-ponytail... a really wide neck-lined shirt (so that it falls past your shoulders)...all in really hideously mismatched colors. thats the essence of the 80s i believe.

hmm.. be sure to peg your pants (bonus if they're overalls)with a neon colored shirt... have neon socks over top of the peg.. wear a painters cap and neon sunglasses... have big dangly earrings...

aw hell.. go rent.. pretty in pink and the breakfast club... :)

Damn good advice, Ally Sheedy in Breakfast Club was so damn hot. But I think Holly would do better with the Molly Ringwald look(s).

hey look.. i was 6-16 years old during the 80's .. I truly have no idea why people would ever want to relive them...

the music sucked.. people looked like freaks... and breakdancing could be a valild movie subject...  it was terrifying i tell you... those of you that don't know or can't remember, just be happy and move on... ;)

I was 8-18 in the eighties.....I remember them.....hehem....I use to breakdance in the front of the room of my sixth grade class when I was really young.  

For a girl it was important to build a wall of hair, built with hairspray, that ran flush with her forehead.  I used to see quite a few interesting fortifications.  I remember some girl I had a crush on had a barrier not even a hurricane was any match for.

Putting scratch and sniff stickers on your pants was also in style if I remember right......

OMG i LOVE the 80's i do anything to go back to live those days! good times!

I don't know about the movies, but the music, much better than a lot of stuff today.
Have to love the huge ass cell phones.

Care Bears....i have a whole bunch of themin my room...my room is like an 80's icon in one section..andrew mccarthy posters and stuff..lol...yea i will agree the 80's had great music..i still listen to some of them!!!!!
