Title: Do you wear your seatbelt?

I'm normally in the back of a car being driven around by someone who doesn't know where they're going. Or in the passenger seat up front. It bothers by boobs. I'll wear it over my lap sometimes, but not over my boobs.

Seatbelt use by all vehicle occupants became mandatory in British Columbia pretty much when I was born, and I think BC has the highest seatbelt compliance rate in Canada.

I presume in neighboring Washington state, seatbelt use must have been a problem, because the Washington DOT has erected signs along all the freeways telling you to "Click it or ticket! - Minimum $86 fine." What I found interesting is, on a AAA Triptik map I have, it says that seatbelt use is mandatory in all states except New Hampshire. I think that is just plain stupid that NH does not have a seatbelt law.

As they said in those TV commercials in the early 80's... "you could learn a lot from a dummy. Buckle your safety belt."

Post by: zurielshimon on April 22, 2003, 01:57:35 am: I can say that I have worn my seat belt every time I have operated a vehicle on a public roadway that had one available for me to use. Now as for passenging, I wear one 90% of the time I'm in the front seat and rarely in the back. State law only requires front-seat passengers and passengers under 12 to wear seat belts.
