Yesterday Seattle had more rain in one day than its ever had in history!!!

(KOMO NEWS) Seattle received 5.02 inches of rain Monday, breaking the city's one-day rainfall record of 3.41 inches set Nov. 20, 1959. It also broke the record for rain over any 24-hour period.

Is that not insane?

I love sweaters, jackets, & layered clothing but I hate being hot! When it's cold ya can put on more or build a fire. When it's hot you can only strip so much and it's still hot!!!

yeah, i'm kinda excited to get to wear my turtle-necks, sweaters scarves and my fuzzy hat. but i probably have atleast a month or 2 till thats going to happen.

yep Ghisy! hope you're ready for the heat! lol. but it may have cooled down by the time you get here... it already looks like it will be cooled down by tomorrow, it's sposed to be in the 80's.

my friend lives where it snows (like an hour away) and he promised my friends and i could stay with him one weekend, so yay!!! :D
but then again... he also promised that last winter... lol

but its not the cold its the beautiful white covered scence with the fresh icicles in the morning and seeing ppl having fun throwing snowballs or making a snowman.

Dude...it snowed here in January of 2002...it was terrible...so freaking cold. Then I went to Wisconsin on Easter and it snowed there too. ON EASTER. I always go SWIMMING on Easter. I don't bundle up like the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man and freeze my ass off.

*buckles down and waits for summer thankful there is no snow*

it snowed this morning! :evil: luckily it didn't stick...but still, there was snow coming from the sky, and seeing how it's only october there is SOMETHING terribly terribly wrong with this picture. i even had to break out my winter jacket. bah.

LOL. We're lucky if we don't get snow in April :razz:. (Well we usually don't get any that late down here, but they do upstate sometimes)

We had a really warm day Monday, it got up to about 83, and then Tuesday went back down to the 50's lol.

Post by: Lucy-san on October 22, 2003, 08:47:48 pm: I'm so confused...all these farenheit temperatures! 40's and triciaicicle? ...all I know as 40 is hotter than I've ever experienced....well...I'm just going to go ahead and give my climate in Kelvin...the universal....right now its about 285 degrees or so I'd say...too cold! theres so many floods! but not long ago we had this biggest drought and a huuuuge forest fire problem...it was really serious..lots of cities being evacuated. swollen members dedicated their new music video to the residents of one city that had to evacuate. anyway...the temperature then was persistently 298ish. which was nice...but I had all my new fall clothes and they were too cuddly for such warm weather. :(

LOL. I like the 40's and 50's .. anything warmer than 70 (okay, 80 lol) I am usually miserable lol. We are climate trained :razz:

*agrees with Tricia* I do have to suffer very similar weather to Rosie's though... I hate it!!! It's already freezing here and it's late Oct!! We never get any snow, just rain, rain & more rain... This summer was extra hot so ppl say this winter will be extra cold *shivers* :? Me doesn't like the idea at all.

lol... i know how you feel! i'm cold once it gets below 75. 50's i'm freezing... it very rarely gets below 40's here... once it went below 30 and there was pieces of ice on this miniture pond we have, that was shocking. 8O
