was the kiss really real? despite what the press and others think..dd they really enjoy that kiss?... everytime i see those two together..it seems as if they actaully have this thing going..you may never know..bwahahahahahahahaha!

They are just marketing themselves together to get more fans hopefully and to get more money or records sold. The harmless kiss was an attention getter. Now they using it to sell records. They probably hope to get fans from each other. Kids that love Britney might be more likely to listen to Madonna now and vice versa...
It's all hype to make more cash... :wink:

i'm sorry to burst madonna's bubble..but the woman should be home cooking for her kids.....madonna is played out....she use to be great but that was a long time ago....i hate to be mean about it but..i think there song is lame btw and britney spears career is fading away very slowly...

they were just trying to get media attention with that kiss, lol, and it worked!!!
and the attention helped them to promote "me against the music" which britney did with madonna...

Your idea to kiss at the VMAs was sooo genius! I know that shocking America with a girl-girl kiss has been done to death, but you swore it would get attention- and you were totally right! For a week after the show, when I opened a paper or turned on the TV, there we were. Even some station called CNN, which my mom says is really important, did a story on us. (And dirrty Christina wasn't anywhere since she's kissed girls before. Or maybe just becasue we're way cuter with rock-solid bodies!)
Honestly it was more publicity for my new album that I ever could've gotten based on the music. Since Justin and I broke up, the press doesn't seem interested in me. I don't get it. I even tried hooking up with Colin Farrell , but that didn't work either. I was really worried about finding someone to date so that when I promote the album, reporters can ask about something other than lyrics and boring stuff like that. I mean, how mayn time can I say, "I'm taking it to another level" before I start to giggle? Now I can talk about you and platinum sales are basically guaranteed! Thanks again.
