Cleaned up- as much as it would be nice to recieve the authentic tape- we will not actually be recieving the real one Nessa first produced anyway- so we might as well have it in the best quality as possible. Just my opinion.

Lol. No. Both is not an option. But if "cleaned up" wins and you are an audiophile and really want the original, talk to me and maybe something can be worked out. But you better have a real good reason for wanting both.

I'm note sure my vote really counts, but if i were on the receiving end i would want it cleaned up since it's rare that people have the ability to fix it up themselves and the original tape is just that... a tape so it sounds pretty bad :)

If "cleaned up" wins, we might be able to work out something where original shns or such are downloadable at specific times to a select few... maybe... Andrew??? :) It just seems like trying to coordinate the audiophiles down a tree might be complex...

Your vote counts Katia..... but why aren't you on AIM?
I could work out a SHN download for the hard core Audiophiles... but i wouldn't open it to the public. Just the people who know what htey are doing. Too much bandwith.

I'm working anyway ;) I know about the bandwidth thing, i was just guessing in the rules it could be something like "If you're an audiophile and want the original as well, PM Andrew with your valid justification and $20, and a pink cat for the URL" :)

the demo tape has some tape hiss and the last two tracks have quite a bit of hiss, so a little cleaning will help. But, there are a few other sounds that i find very interesting that you would not usually hear on a professionally produced recording, and those sounds are little chair or bench squeeks. Probably from Vanessa while she adjusted prior to starting the song. It makes the tape very real. kinda cool. One squeek is at the beginning of Meggie Sue, one of my favorite new songs from the "demo tape". just fyi. I like those little flaws. very artistic.
