Unsung

Was the last song to get voted off. Why the hell has Paradise stayed in so long? How are these people hanging on? Is this Paradise's turn to go or will "Ordinary Day" get the boot? Surely, some people want Rinse off! What about that alliance against Twilight? *dies*

and to tell you the truth... i like all the songs left the same except for a couple i like more, i didnt know which to choose so i came up with that! so really... i am playing the right way!

Not true Holly. Good, asI am using it, is an objective measure. What I LIKE and what you LIKE might be 2 different things.... that is not what I am talking about. Twilight is not MY favorite song on the album either. I've listened to Twilight much less than ATM.

BUT Twilight is the BEST song on the album. That is an objective statement. It may not be your favorite, but it is the best. It's the most well written, has the best lyrics, the best flow, the best melody, the most depth etc. It's clearly the song she put the most emotion into... and frankly, I find it sad that people would vote it off just to prove a point.

But whatever, people voting Twilight off of VC Survivor on an obscure message board populated largely by N'Sync, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera fans isn't gonna make it suddenly STOP being the best song on the album. It's just a demonstration of the lack of musical taste of the people on this MB. :twisted:

Nope i think you're wrong. I think you think it is the 'best' song on the album. You think it has the 'best' lyrics, maybe i don't. You think it has the best flow, maybe i don't. You think it has the best melody, maybe i don't. I could go on forever. And who are you to say "it is clearly the song she put the most emotion into"? Because that may be your opinion but you have no concrete evidence to base this on- and does that make it the best anyway? I could put my heart and soul into writing a song, and i could think it was the 'best' one i'd ever written- but that wouldn't make it a good song- it would still be crap, i would just think it was the best. It depends on what you class as a good song, even if you're not voting for 'favourites'.

No no no no no. Rosie, you fail to realize. I make the rules around here. And if I decide that Twilight is objectively the best song, then it is.

Besides, there are critical ways to figure out if a song is good or not. There are musical devices, terms, etc that decide this.

Kinda like how Ulysses is a good book, but NO ONE LIKES IT.

It's empyrically a good book, but it's no fun to read.

BUT Twilight is the BEST song on the album. That is an objective statement. It may not be your favorite, but it is the best. It's the most well written, has the best lyrics, the best flow, the best melody, the most depth etc. It's clearly the song she put the most emotion into... and frankly, I find it sad that people would vote it off just to prove a point.
Twilight is the best song on the album? I've heard two versions of that song. We all have. The best version is the one not on that album. Don't get me wrong, it's a good song but the best that's just your opinion. Just to let you know I voted for Rinse. Which is a good song but Paradise is IN MY OPINION better.
