brief history lesson.
She played gigs in NYC, Peter Zizzo sorta discovered her, got a contract with Interscope and they procuded the album "Rinse" but before anything could happen with it, she was dropped from Interscope and the album was shelved, never to officially see the light of day.
The demo gets in the hands of Ron Fair, he signs her to A&M and they create Be Not Nobody.

I thought that she thought her first single was going to be "Rinse" because of her saying, the single, the single in the "Raw" tape. But when I asked her in March 02 if it was she said no. She added that "Rinse" was going to be the title of her album but she decided against it cause she didn't want her album title to be a title track (name of a song off the album :wink: )
