someone from my town died in the war in iraq just recently. i see his memorial every day when i go past the park... soooo sad!

A girl from like 5 minutes south of here died in the helicopter crash at the beginning of this month. It's scary. She was my age. We graduated the same year and everything. My peers aren't supposed to be dying

"Dulce et decorum est pro patria mori" was the first thing I learned when my dad was teaching me Latin. It's a very profound statement, mainly because quidquid latine dictum sit, altum viditur. :wink:
It's still rather powerful nonetheless.
