Is there one that converts them to wav or mp3 without you gaving to burn each one to one cd at a time and then loading it on your computer?
-
mpeg audio, I assume? Can't you just rename it?
-
you can also do this...
1) drag the file on to your desktop
2) rename it to something fairly short (i usually just do something like make Are You Happy Now ayhn)
3) at the prompt type (the ayhn is just an example) copy c:\WINDOWS\Desktop\ayhn.mpeg c:\WINDOWS\Desktop\ayhn.mp3
Then it's done...I do this one all the time.

mp3 IS MPEG (MPEG 2, layer III).

That's what I said. (in not so many words)

No, it's not. Most MPEGs you see are MPEG 1's. MPEG is a family of standards. mp3 is not in MPEG 1. Most .mpg movies you see have a video track as well as an audio track. Even if it was an MPEG 2 movie you were trying to convert, simply renaming the file would not change it to an mp3. The audio track would have to be extracted first.

She said "converts". Which is why I assumed it was audio, and I said I was assuming. . . if she said "extracts", well then we'd have a whole 'nother thing coming. Anyway, I wasn't trying to argue, though I do a damn good job of seeming like it.
