Title: Hush Hush, Keep it Down Now, Voices Carry
Post by: PIBby on November 11, 2003, 01:17:02 pm
Favorite 80s Songs!

I totally dig the . . . 70s. The 80s were terrible. But, that doesn't mean I can't love SONGS! from the 80s. I wasn't alive in th 80s, so I can say that. :D Right? Maybe, I don't know. Anyway!

Voices Carry - 'Til Tuesday
Sweet Child of Mine - Guns 'n' Roses
Safety Dance!!!!!!!!!!!!! - Men Without Hats
Our House in the Middle of the Street (?) - Crowded House?

Those are 80s songs. There are other grrreat songs that were put out in the 80s, but I consider them late 70s songs because I can. Plus, 80s Stones and 80s Queen were never as queer (Not literally - Freddy Mercury :() as these 4 bands, and songs. So.

I don't know. Probably. I was trying to figure it out yesterday, 'cause it came on THE POINT! (which I seldom listen to), and Crowded House seemed too weird, but that's all I could think of, so.

Taco - Putting on the Ritz

That's the first one that comes to mind.  There are others that I love too.  80s is my favorite type of music.  Don't know why, but I love it!!  :D

Our House in the Middle of the Street (?) - Crowded House?

CROWDED BLOODY HOUSE!? what an insult! It was done by Madness, funniest band eveeeer. My geography teacher was obsessed with them good ol' Suggs.

Oh and Holly, Mmmmraz did do it well didn't he!? except on recordings it was always clear the audience NEVER knew the rest of the words. Shame on them

Oh, good 80s songs/bands. The Smiths, The Smiths, The Smiths.
