You say you love me
you know what you said
i dont believe myself
i love the way you give urself to me

You make me feel that way
you say we'll be together soemday
my love you are addictive

now...
lets get down to this
id love to be with u
this is my last chance to say
i love you that way

It was kidding!

You see, kidding was used as a noun.  Gerund!  Ohhh yes, a gerund is when you use  an -ing verb as a noun!
