Vanessa Carlton's Hefty Hand-Out
Star magazine reports Vanessa Carlton and her boyfriend Stephan Jenkins of Third Eye Blind were spotted walking around in New York City when they encountered a homeless man. Generous Vanessa pulled out a wad of money that appeared to be at least $300, giving it to the greatful guy, who started crying and kept repeating, "God bless you."
Michelle Branch Vents Over Vanessa Carlton Mistaken ID
Blender magazine did a Q&A with Michelle Branch and asked the singer what frustrated her. "You don't know how many times I walk down the street and people go, 'Oh, my God. I love your video where you're playing the piano.' Fu** off! I mean, I know that's not their fault. I'm sure Vanessa Carlton gets the same thing."
Branch To Use Mistaken Identity To Her Advantage
JoJo of KIIS FM caught up with Michelle Branch in Las Vegas ahead of the Radio Music Awards and asked the singer if she was going to do any gambling in the city. The 20-year-old responded, "I have... I am.. I have a year to go. Well I have until July." JoJo wondered if she had some special pass that allowed her to, and Branch, who is often mistaken for her piano playing contemporary responded, "Well I think I'm going to go around and tell everyone I'm Vanessa Carlton so I can gamble."
Sorry Milan, My Piano Doesn't Fit
Vanessa Carlton ran into a problem many of her pop peers wouldn't have while on tour in Europe. She tells fans on Monday, "I'm so sorry. I've never cancelled before. Unfortunately, we had to switch venues last minute in Milan and I couldn't fit my freakin' piano down the stairs. Sometimes I wish I played drum. Everyone who bought tickets, I promise I'll make it up to you. This is my first and last cancellation as long as I can help it."

Asked what Michael Jackson said he was planning on quitting music to concentrate on, instead of the correct answer acting, she said, "Smooth young boys." Asked who Nas hoped to "mock lynch" at a radio sponsored show over the summer, instead of Jay-Z, she said, "Christina Aguilera - he thought TRL'ers might enjoy auto-erotic asphyxiation." And which part of her body was it rumored Kylie Minogue had lifted, instead of her butt, Carlton said, "The part that makes it impossible for her to do the robot."

When I was going christmas shopping I saw one, and I only had $5 left after buying all those presents, but I gave it to him, and it made me wish I could have done more!
Or I want to go around handing food to them.
