Title: Owww Bad "Target" Stores

Shame on you Limer, haha.

They just read something on the radio saying that some of the veterans ask Target to sponser them as they brought the verterans board to town. (He didn't specify what town.) And Target said they would not because they don't sponser anything except art stuff. Doesn't seem quite so bad does it?

BUT

They also would not allow a military toys for tots drop off barrell in their store! IN ANY OF THEIR STORES! Okay tell me if I am wrong, but that is fucked up! Don't ya think some KIND HEARTED people would could afford to buy an extra toy would buy it AT TARGET and put it in the barrell that they noticed on their way in. I mean IT'S A FREAKING CHARITY to give toys to kids who otherwise would get nothing from santa!

I loved what the guy on the radio said after he read this...almost quote,

"I don't care if Target is the last store open on Christmas Eve and I havn't gotten any presents, they'll just have to wait until after Christmas."

And then he said stuff about how he won't shop there, and if you want to he said he's sure they have plenty of Dixie Chicks CDs and you could probably get an autographed picture of Saddam in there. Haha!

well I will shop there :), I mean it's wrong to assume that Target should have to sponser anything...They give scholarships etc. and do a lot for the community...

P.S. I like the Dixie Chicks.

Also my "other mother" got the same e-mails, you can not always get the truth from an e-mail.

my dads friends wifes family owns the target chain...I'll ask my dad to ask his friend about that...it's so odd.

He said nothing of it being an email so I took it as it was said, and you can do the same. If the mods feel the need they can lock it.
