What did everyone think? Has everyone even seen it all? I personally like #10 from Norway...Kurt I think it was...
Also #2 from Aussie land, Guy. Had to love guy. Anyway, those are my choices. How about you?

They were re-edited for each country- so we got a very different show to yours buuuut you got to see Ant & Dec! YAAAAAAAAAAAAY! Such legends. I also hear you got a battering about how Americans aren't aware of foreign events. Bwhaha
Anyway, Kelly was really good- but she seemed like she thought she was so above all of those judges, kinda like "uh, why am i here?" but maybe thats just how she is.
And I <3 Will for evaaaar, what did you all think of him? That Polish girl was most bizarre...it was like glammed up Eurovision.

The polish judge was an evil man because he (tried) to insult Will! I loved Alex, the girl from Poland though, she was mad!!!
I liked Guy too, he was good but my favourite has gotta be Will Young :D he was great, you know you want to vote for him, yes you do you want to vote, come on VOTE WILL! :lol:
Kelly was amazing, but I don't want her to win, she's a star across the world already, it isn't fair

haven't seen it, but what did you think of Peter Evrard (the belgian canidate) ?
I read in the newspaper that the judge wasn't very nice to him, but I like him, actually he looks like he's a killer :p but he's really sweet.

I was flipping and everytime I saw it there was someone with really crazy hair and sounded like crap.
I really wanted to see Kelly. What did she sing? When I saw the commercial I was like poor Kelly she must be hating that. I was wondering if it was in her contract which I guess it probably had to be. I guess it would be the same as if she was Miss America competing in Miss Universe, huh?

Can't remember what she sang. She displayed the same kinda sentiment that you have Let- that she was too good for everyone at that show- which i don't think was true. I think Ant & Dec were right to have a go at the lack of awareness of anything going on outside the US.

it was natural woman...and the note that got kelly the spot of American Idol was killed too...she like screamed it and didn't sing it *it was bad* but the rest of the song was pretty good.

you are totally correct Rosie. I have no idea about any of those other people. I only saw two people and they were terrible. I am sure there is lots of talent out there. I also do not know a lot about her. I only saw a the last AI show. I do have her cd which I enjoy. I think I saw one special on her and she seems pretty down to earth cool but you never know. We all start somewhere so I hope her attitude isn't too bad.

well i dunno but i thought the guy from south africa seemed good but only saw a lil' bit of his performance.... But i LOVE Kurt he was soo good and he has purely amazing talent!

Yeah......Kelly really really bothered me quite a lot the other night. She seemed completely ego-tripped. Kurt was just as good as Kelly in my opinion. I mut admit, I did enjoy seeing her get knocked down by one of the judges. lol
As far as the others go, Will Young was really great. Same with the guy that sang Nirvana, although he sounded too much like a kurt cobain wannabe. I'd love to hear what he sounds like with his band. Also, the guy from South Africa was fairly good as well. Oh and the girl from Pan Arab. She kicked ass as well. Some great some there.
Other than that I wasn't very impressed over all. I'd love to see Helgi Rafn from Iceland Idol come out with an album. He's fantastic! (He wasn't on the show)

the Polish judge was nice to Kelly, and I have no clue what he said to the Polish girl, but omg that was funny "I hate him"...but to kelly he was nice...
and kelly did NOT show her best performance...at all.

Dude Kurt was a great singer! I thought it wasn't fair that they all didn't have to sing at least 3 songs or more to show their talent, however I will admit that the guy I voted for won. hmm imagine that... :wink:

no way! I liked how she sang the shrieky note...but I did like the extreme high note from the original time...ahh I remember talking about this with you two summers ago lol...memories...anywho yeah...kelly has like permanent laringitis nowadays..not that it sounds so bad. I'm so sad she lost though :cry: why god why!!?! if anyone was to beat her it shouldve been the polish girl or better yet the pan arab girl...she was like 3rd in america! woohoo!
oh and boo to the canadian idol haha...y'all should've seen the other people who could've won...they were so much better...ahh...such poor representation.

Oh peeps, he wasn't that bad and I only heard him sing one song but geez if ya closed your eyes and listened it WAS Bono singin' half the time. I just felt like he was the underdawg and he was so humble when he won. It was good stuff! :wink:

maybe thats why i hated it! I hate Beautiful Day, and can't really stand U2 except for a few songs (actually only one but i forgot its name)..
not saying that Kurt kid couldn't sing..but come on there were better people on there...

World Idol is totally like a glammed up eurovision u are so right Rosie! Ant and Dec make the show though! they're just pure legend I love them!
I think Kelly had the most strongest voice, it's just amazing. Will was fantastic too! I think that Norwegian Kurt was good but I :heart: Will! lol.

The fact that it was just one performance hurt Kelly. It's obvious she's more well rounded as a singer than Kurt but he did choose a good song that suited his voice. Kelly is a better singer without a doubt. I thought the Australian Idol sounded great too.

Guy is terrific, his song choice was abit hows your father but the Australian public are proud of him.
Not one single negative word has been spoken about guy by the press etc.
Hes such a lovely guy :wink: And I believe Kelly should of won followed by someone with more talent.
Id also like to say that Aussie land is having a big spew about Will's performace because they say he has an unfair advantage with his back ground effects.
All of the other Idols got the same thing on the tvs behind them exept for Will how had flames.

And yeh Im sorry but I havnt heard any of his songs but I didnt like him very much.
