for my computer graphics project we had to design a book cover and the theme had to be a woman we admire. the teacher said no pop stars. well.. vanessa doesnt dance around and lip synch like some pop stars.. she is a composer, a ballet dancer, etc. so. he let me do her =)
(plus i ddint tell him she was a signer, i just said i was doing my favorite pianist and he didnt ask any questions)
so anyway, i finished it today. well its pretty much done i might fix it up a bit before i turn it in, but i thought you'd might like it
i had to do some major re-sizing cos the file is like 10 inches by 15.. so its a bit hard to read the type , but here ya go:

I dig it, very very nice!
Now if only we could get a VC book ;)... I'd read it!
-
That's fab!!
-
would it be possible to do a large version of the type so it's easier to read? Like two images... one of the whole thing and one smaller one of just the typing bigger like when you zoom into a certain section? :)

I squinted...
'Step into the life of a girl that discovered that her dreams lied in the palm of her piano-playing hands. Discovering music at the ago of two and composing her first piece at eight, Vanessa Carlton was anything but ordinary. But as she grew up, her piano time was soon cut in half as she became obsessed with ballet. At age 14 she was accepted to the School of American Ballet in New York City and moved away from home to study ballet as a profession. Shocked by the strictness of the school and the unbelievable competition, Vanessa went from best in her class to skipping class. Frustrated, she submerged herself in music Soon lyrics and music were flowing out of the young musician and she discovered that unlike ballet, with music, her feelings no longer had to be silent. She left her life of ballet behind and began to play her music. With the encouragement of her father she placed her fears aside and began to perform at open mic nights in New Tork City clubs. Though all the odds were placed against her she perceviered and fulfilled her dream in 2002 when her debut record of evocative piano melodies and emotions was released.'

my friend said "cordero" means "lamb of god"
so by her translation your name is "jesus christ lamb of god" lol, which is even crazier!
wouldn't it be weird if you were related to her? have any family in puerto rico? lol, that's where her family is from.
-
nope cordero just means lamb... its on menus. lmao.
and im 1/2 colombian 1/2 uruguayan..
so no puerto rican hehe
-
lol, ok... maybe the puerto rican translation is lamb of god then, i dunno.
that woulda been cool if you were related! lol
-
If you were jewish you might be related to Jesus, which would be even more odd. Any davids in your ancestery?
Edit: I just thought of something......isn't the word, "adios," mean, "go to god," or something? And it is used as a regular goodbye. Maybe your last name is the same. Just a guess.

lol well all christians started off as jews anyway..
and yah adios means "go to god" but cordero just means lamb.. it only means lamb of god if its cordero de dios.
