Title: How do you make a cassette tape into an mp3?

is it possible? well nvm, i guess it is, but is there an easy way to do it?

easy? no.

get a good stereo with a tapedeck.
Use the stereo's audio outs (speaker line ports work in most cases), run the cable from that to your computer's audiocard LINE-IN.
You'll need an adapter from Radioshack or something.

Then record to a WAV what is coming into the LINE-IN.

yeah that's like what my dad said, but he didn't know how exactly to hook it up. thanx a bunch!  :D
