Title: Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Post by: divasteph on February 13, 2004, 07:17:22 am: my brother told me to go see them play a long time ago with him when they were in town - i didn't go - but maps is damn catchy - and it gets stuck in my head so much lately ----

I like them even though their drummer is a little clone of max weinberg...lol

I haven't made too much of an effort to check them out.. but they're on my "bands I have to check out" list ;D

Post by: Alecs on June 10, 2004, 09:48:32 pm: My gosh they were great tonight on the MTV Movie Awards! Instead of just playing live on a side stage, they actually had a video/camera crew make their live performance look just as if it were a pre-recorded video, and what not.
However, as awesome as it was, at the very end, as the camera panned away, you could see the lead singer just standing there. As the crowd cheered, tons of rose petals were being dumped on top of her. It was a great performance! :wink: You could tell it was live on stage. :)

Their next album which is due out in March or May or something. It's going to be a concept album about Karen O.'s cat. The first track is about the cat's birth, and so on. :lol:

I'm not kidding about the concept album. I've read about this from multiple sources.

If you like Fever to Tell, you should check out their EPs. They're great.
