i wrote this quite a ways back, but since someone wrote a song called Over You i decided to post my poem called Over You
Over You
The day I think of you
Makes it longer
The way I no longer hear from you
Makes me ponder
Cause you were my everything
And now you’re gone
You took everything
Even my shining sun
Every night in my bed
I smell the fresh rain
The storm builds in my head
And creates so much pain
Fast it comes, closer
To drown out my life
Like a long scary roller coaster
Taking all that was right
When you walked away
I didn’t know what to say
And now, I feel empty inside
After you took me for this little ride
Somewhere along
I got confused and died
Why did you have to leave my side?
Because if you loved me
It would set me free
But no, you pushed away
And I finally let you be
And I wish you would come closer
So you could see
I want to ignore this feeling I have
I can’t take it no more
The pain is too bad
I think I get over you
But its just to true
This passionate love I have for you
