They're not well know... but hopefully they will be pretty soon!
I'm a new fan of this group... I don't know too much about them, but I've heard a couple songs and they're awesome!! Lani told me about them! :)
I'm going to see them on Friday, so I'll get a better feel for their music and tell you more then! They're kinda a punk, melodic, rock group. I can't really describe them well.
If you watch Taildaters, you may have seen the lead singer, Danny on it! As well as Jeff and Robby, 2 band members tailing him! He was on the episode where there was a bitchy girl, and it didnt go well. They went to a fire station and dinner and stuff.
Danny is really cute, and seems really sweet! I emailed him, and less than 5 mins later he emailed me back. And then we emailed back and fourth a couple more times. They're really cool to their fans!
I just joined their street team, and I thought I'd begin my duty of promoting them here! Please check them out! Let me know what you think! :D

I just got back from their concert! they were AMAZING live! SO much energy and their songs are awesome!!! I am dying to get a cd or something now, cause I want to here them SO much!
I also kinda got to meet Danny, he was really really nice! I spent most the time with Lani (:heart: you girl!). We need to chat like that more often!

Straight from the National Product camp, i'm here in support for my boys! i can tell you they're an awesome rock band, not punk, not pop, they're pure melodic hardcore rock. and they're amazingly good LIVE. far above the many unsigned bands i've seen. if you get the chance to see these guys on stage, GO FOR IT! you'll see and hear for yourself that they are NOT like those mainstream pop punk bands taking over the airwaves and MTV.
and to set the record straight, they do not have a video out, nor do they even have a single. the only time any of the band has had MTV exposure was when the lead singer, Danny, was on Taildaters a few weeks ago, with the guitarist, Jeff, and bassist, Joey, as his taildaters.
if anything for now, National Product are in the video for The Vines' new single, "Ride." they're one of several bands in the video playing the song with The Vines.

I dunno if i'm going to the Troubador show yet. :? Weekday nights almost never work in my favor. But I know I should, esp. cuz its' a BIG show for myspace. There's more pressure for me to go to their Chain show on the 6th (which you REALLLY must go to, that's the major one). It's supposed to be a CD release party for The Silence, featuring National Product. I think some important people are supposed to show up that the guys want to impress, and tickets are also selling out VERY fast. There's a $15 package deal for the Chain show that I highly recommend you take up on and it's VERY limited! It's a mail order thing. You get a ticket to the show on the 6th, a limited edition NP shirt (100 made), a private acoustic show on Friday the 5th, and a pass to the march 6th after party. I'm telling you, it's gonna be a big show. =)

I definitely want to get the package thing, I've just gotta see if Viv is for sure going to come, cause I don't wanna go alone. But she says she wants to!! The chain reaction show sounds great, I'd love to see an acoustic show, i hope the shirt isnt the same one i have, and the afterparty sounds fun! The guys are totally anti-21+ (even 18+), they believe in only doing shows and events that are All Ages as much as possible. The only exceptions they make that are non-all ages are private parties or charity events. Other than that, all are welcome! They don't like limiting their audiences and fan base. So you're both good to go! :D

Nope! Their afterparties are never age restricted. I know 17 y/os that go. Trust me, if anything they do has a certain age requirement, you'll know. Especially if it's something they put on themselves. It's always all ages. The most recent 21+ shows they've done were for someone's private party they were invited to play in, and the grand opening of a 21+ venue that their friend owns. You'll never see them booking a 21+ venue for a regular show of their own.

FYI, the 3/6 Chain Reaction show is pretty much sold out pre-sale, according to Danny. There are very few tickets left and they're bound to sell out by the end of the week, so if you still wanna go then get on it ASAP! hehe.

It's a themed show, fittingly called "Sex, Drugs, and Rock n Roll." The bands that play also get involved in discussions about drugs, safe sex, etc. So it'll be an interesting show. :wink:

Ok... I just want to say that Danny Casler is the friken sweetest and most down to earth musician EVER!!! He rocks! I learned that especially this weekend!! He's really nice and really cares about the NP fans, it shows! I just hope he stays that way when they get big and famous! But he seems to be the type of person who won't let fame change him, so that's good! I haven't gotten a chance to know the others yet... but from what Lani tells me, they're the same! :D

Tonight was an AWESOME show! (i'll post pics tomorrow, but i'm too tired now!)
there was just SO much energy. They had like a 30 min set. They even did a cover of Hilary Duff's "Come Clean". I normally hate that song, but I loved their version. It definitly sounds better as a rock song!
Then the after party was pretty fun too... but we had to leave at about 1:30am when the cops came and shut it down, lol.

Yeeaaah! Those are my boys! I'm bummed I missed the Chain show (even though the wedding and reception I attended was a lot of fun). I'm being told left and right that it was the best show they've done in as long as they've lived here in Cali!
It was great seeing Holly and Nicole at the acoustic show! Sorry I wasn't exactly in the vibe w/ you guys, I had to get all teched up to film the set for them. A lil sumthing for their media press kit, ya know? :wink: But thank you BOTH for coming! It was a really special night for them. It's a huge honor to have you guys as one of the few to witness such a "first" for them. :D

Lani!!! I definitely wish you were their last night! I didn’t know anyone… and I got a bad vibe from most the fans who were their, cause I’m new and stuff and they all know each other. But it was still fun! We need to be at the Canoga park show!! That one sounds awesome!! I’m gonna try to get a lot of people to go… it should be fun! It was great seeing you Friday night!! It was so brief though since you came late and we had to leave almost immediately after cause Viv has a curfew. BTW, you looked cool all teched up! Can I by any chance get a copy of that video? National Product put up some new songs on Pure Volume! They're not new me me because I've heard them at concerts! but it's cool hearing them recorded! They're rough cuts but still incredible! check them out!!! Way better than the songs that were up before!

ok... over the last couple of days I have been talking to Danny over email and I've decided to give them another shot! I did feel left out and bad at the shows, but maybe it's different now.
He emailed me saying he missed me and wondered where I was. I explained to him my problem and he said he cant believe that was going on and he talked to the people (without mentioning my name).
Danny rocks! After a month of me not being around he cared enough to see what was up, and solve the problem!
So yeah... I'm going to go see them Friday I think!

Awe, I feel you Holly!! I scream to the world about Jag Star (http://www.jagstar.com) I think they are the best and want everyone to know about them and their success but you know this. Especially since the release of the new album.

yea... it's so hard promoting new artists! you want everyone to hear them so much, but most people dont give them a chance. And then when they become famous everyone jumps on the band wagon and says how awesome they are, but where were they before? National Product is about to break out... trust me! record labels are lining up to sign with them! They're even having meetings with people like the president of capital records! watch out for them! they're coming to a radio near you! :D
and thanks Let... you still have to come to a show sometime! :wink:

Tonight's show was awesome as usual! I didnt even notice if the fan situation was better or not cause I brought a large group of friends and avoided them. Danny was very impressed that I brought so many people, lol, and even said i'd get a free shirt for that, but i never did. And every single one of them came out converted into NP fans, and they weren't just like "yeah, they were cool!" they were like "Wow! that was awesome!! we have to come to more shows!!!" :D
Never once had one of my friends that ive brought not been really impressed with them! They're amazing!

I dont think i'll be up there for those shows on Aug 6th and 7th tho! Cause we're already going up there in mid June and late July, and then I have to move up there in late August... So 3 trips in the summer is already a lot. but... Let, you HAVE to go! They're incredible live!

ok, this is a long overdue bump!
These guys are still incredible! I saw them last night and am going August 1st too! Living most of the time in Nor Cal has made it harder to see them, but I still love them as much as ever! They're working their asses off touring and getting an album ready.
I have to say, Danny and Jeff are 2 of the nicest, most awesome guys I have ever met! (I don't really know the other guys, but they're cool too!) :)

Their debut album, Luna, came out on August 7th (but July 24th on iTunes) and has been doing well!! You can buy it on iTunes, Best Buy, Hot Topic, Barnes and Nobel, Walmart... pretty much everywhere!! I got the itunes the day it came out and picked up the hard copy of the album from Best Buy the other day... it's amazing to go into a big record store and pick up the album of a band you've known and seen grow over the years! I'm sooooo happy for them!!
Right now they're on a nation-wide tour in their new tour bus, Blue Steel, and making big things happen!
They've had 2 music videos for "Sean's Song" and "By All Means"... check them out!!
