has anyone else ever tried one? i got one last night for a formal i'm going to tonight and i love it! it was also REALLY easy and quick!
-
Haven't tried one yet but I know people who have and it turned out really good, I think I'm gonna get one for prom  I'm so white haha
-
Yeh I have heard of them! I can't tan really, because it looks un natural as red heads don't... :(
xoxx

i think it's one of the greatest inventions ever! it gives us pale people who dont tan under the sun (only burn) justice! and it's safer since it doesnt use UV rays which can cause cancer!
-
Yeah my parents wont let me go tanning because skin cancer runs in my family sooo... I'm never that tan, so its definately a great thing for pale ppl and ppl who dont wanna get skin cancer
-
Even better! I so hope this will reduce the use of sun beds being used even more. My best friend used to, so I will have to tell her about this!

yeah, cancer runs in my family too! my mom even got skin cancer (but they caught it early on so it was no problem) from tanning while she was younger! sun + tanning beds are bad!
-
Yeah, if you have 2 major burns before you're 18 you double your chances of gettiong cancer.
I am going to need a fake tan for my legs this summer- believe me, it takes me bloody ages trying to get a tan- and by the time i do the summer is over! I don't know if you can get mystic tans here, but i am also fearful of being put in a Ross Situation. hehe.

How much did that cost, if you don't mind my asking... And are places to get a mystic tan everywhere?? I'd be interested in getting it done!
-
that was one of the greatest moments in television!
-
sun + tanning beds are bad!
I had a Biology teacher who accurately called them Cancer Cubicles.
-
umm... anywhere from 10-20 dollars each, depending how many sessions you buy at once. so it's not something you want to pay for all the time, but i just want to get them for special ocassions like formals and stuff.
-
I don't know how safe the chemicals would be though...
-
most of the time i can get one by laying in the sun... but i'm really impatient so i never stay there long and it doesn't show up as fast as it could.
-
I live in a small town, but here it's about 30 bucks... probably cheaper in the city though.
I'd love to try it - for those of you who've got it done, does it make you look "brown tan" or "orange tan"?

I got it done just a few minutes ago!!
:D
It's cool. So far so good, and there isn't any orange... I've heard really good stuff about it. Oh and for me, it cost me 25 bucks. For one. For three it's 65 and for 5 it's 100. WHOA!! 8O Cindy (Ben's mom) got the 3-fer deal. And the girl who worked there said that for only doing it once, it'll last for a little more then 10 days or so. Which is fine with me. I just wanted to be tan so I'm not a white ghost when I get married tomorrow! :)
-
whoa, really? for me it was $20 for one and $45 for 3... i got the 3 sessions! cause i figured i'll definitely need it for prom and something else as well
-
I'm wicked dark after staying in the sun for just an hour...so no...I don't use mystic tan stuff...
-
The only person I know that tried Mystic Tanning turned orange
It looked so fake!
-
really? orange? it must have been a bad tan then... cause everyone i know who's done it has looked natural! i know about 12 people who've tried it
-
wow - mystic tans must be good around in Cali
In some parts in Ohio they suck. Mine as well color yourself with an orange marker.
But Holly, yours did look really natural!
-
thank you! :)
