CeCe! you're creativeness reminds me of my brother! haha

while staying on my uncle, Avar's farm, my brother and I got a orphaned calf to take care of while we were there. we got to name it too! my brother's decision... Baby Cow!
and then he got 2 frogs which he named Up and Down. Up liked the top half of the tank, down liked the bottom

The names of the cats I've had in the past:

Kepler
Tora(tiger in japanese)
Tsume(nail or claw in japanese)  --she was a very paranoid and ferral(wild) cat.  I ended up with enough claw marks from her.

Pick a name that fits their personality or something which corresponds to something you like.  For instance, if you like Vanessa Carlton you could call him something cute like, "Twilight."  If you are really crazy about something like physics call him/her something like Kepler.

lol. well, it was an SNL skit in like the 80's or 90's and every episode would have the skit "Toonces" and it would show a scene of a cat driving and there would always be two random famous people in the car, one in the passenger's seat and one in the back. and one person would be saying to the other "see, i told you Toonces could drive" and then he'd say "oh no, Toonces look out! ahh!" and the car always goes over a cliff.
it's like a 30 second skit they'd always show. each one had two different well known people in it

My first cat was named Butterscotch... but that qualifies as a food does'nt it?

Let's see, one was named Chrono and another Victoria.
Sasuke is a cool name too.

But then again, I named one Booger because it always had a snot bubble in it's nose as a kitten, so meh  :)

It means nothing in no language ... it's just random letters LOL :-)
or you could call them stupid names like Raffinose ... or Dextran ... (they're both sugars I'm working on ... they don't count as food cuz you can't eat them ;-))

lol a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooot of people here have outdoor cats :-P my neighbor's cats are outdoors and they just sunbath all day and chase birds. one of them decapitated a squirrel though, which was quite gross :-P

my cats used to be, but we live on a main highway and are too afraid they'll get hit on the road. but you can tell they used to be hunters (they were strays from our back yard) - they'll look out the window at the birds and make this weird clicking sounds with their throat - and they like to catch the occasional field mouse that finds its way in to our cellar

an outdoor cat doesnt stay out ALL the time...unless the owner really is mean!  My cat made some crazy noises at animals outside too, and even the occasional time she would try to get them and run into my sliding door  :lol:

lmao! ok, so if your cat is an outdoor cat, then it can go outside for the whole day, or come in when it wants. during the night it usually comes inside. During the winter cats usually stay inside since it's so cold and the snow and all that.  or they can just be strictly indoors like mine and never go outside

LMAO one time i was playing with my cat JJ and i was waving a string around that he was chasing, and he didn't stop in time and ran smack in to the glass door :-P lmao

LMAO that reminds me of the story my friend Emily told me about her dad when he was in highschool....at my highschool we have huge mirrors where the cafeteria is (i think it was a gift from one of the senior classes) and her dad was walking down the hall and walked right in to the mirror! he didn't even notice that it was a mirror - he thought the hallway kept going!

and my cat is like Rosies cat ... even bringing a big assed lizard into the house because she was so proud of herself and wanted to show me ... only I screamed like the big girl I am and ran ... and hid in my room ... Awwww. Yeah, well we don't have lizards here (thank GOD!) but she did catch a baby bird the other day. Its a good sign though, because she was ill for a while because we found out she was diabetic. Random huh? We have to inject her everyday! haha, oooh here she is (i've never posted a pic of her before!):

Awww, so adorable!!!

But to be honest, I don't really like cats...one cat i kept while I also had a doggie and the bitch cat poked my poor Cookie's eye out!  My doggie's pupil was injured :(.  Of course we had to throw the cat out, which we did. lol.


Obviously, not all cats are like that...but ever since that incident I started liking cats lesser and lesser...

When my mum was working in Sweden (many eons ago) there was a blizzard and she was running towards her hotel and they had glass doors, but she didn't know they were doors - she thought there was nothing there... So she ran right through. She still has scars :?

Wow, are you serious?  I miss my old cat named Tora.  So much so it breaks my heart still.  My Tora was a male, but you have to post pics of her.  I want to see tora.  I never saw people had responded to my post.  I can't believe I actaully helped you pick a name.

I SOOO want a cat right now.  I'm moving soon to a new place.  I'm not sure where it will be yet, but being able to have a cat is one of the top things I'm looking for.  And then I'm going to adopt a girlfreind too from somewhere. :wink:

You're all very sweet *hug*

Tora and Lily have been very sweet (and naughty too, Lily a WHOLE lot!), only thing I worry a bit about, is that Tora hardly eats. But she'll be fine, I hope.
She loves to cuddle, and hang on my arm (all the time, even while I'm on the pc) and in my neck ( :? )
Lily loves to play and climb in my leg (uhm..ouch.)
She also meows a lot, which is kinda funny. I'm glad she doesn't do that ALL the time, lol!

They're already housebroken, and so far, they haven't wrecked any of my furniture yet

They follow me around everywhere I go. I'm in the livingroom, so are they.
I'm in the kitchen, so are they.
I have to go to the toilet, and there they are, right behind me, LOL!

I've been taking a few pics, but I only have a "normal" (meaning OLD) camera, it'll take a while before the roll is full, and I can get them developed.

Tora is probably adjusting to the new place.  Are you feeding them the same food as they were eating before?  It may seem mean, but I know for a fact cats will eat anything once they get hungry enough.

If she still hasn't eaten anything by Monday, I'm going to take her to the vet

I've fed cat's bananas.  And normally they HATE bananas.  Though one of my cats liked corn chips, which is really weird.

Which reminds me of some of the stupid flavors they give for cat medicine sometimes.  No wonder they don't want to take it.  They should make it liver flavored, then cat's would love to have it forced down their throats.
