Title: Crimson (a song in the works by me)

Broken heart, crimson sky
Teary eyes, thoughtless mind
I'm still here and I don't know why
'Cause I've tried to leave this world
A thousand times
I wish I could throw it all away
Write all my feelings down on paper and burn them- gone forever
Broken heart, gleaming knife
But I won't do it
No, not this time
Frozen like statues, we're all forgotten
Left behind
Caught in a moment of reality
But then we go
Stormy weather, cloudy sky
I'm on my knees now
Tears sting me like a million knives
Broken heart, wondering why
Empty soul, hollow body
Broken heart, crimson sky

I wrote those words when I was either 12 or 13, and I'm just now putting music to it. lol
