Title: I wanna dye my hair...

But my mom would go crazy if I did.  What should I do?????? I'm so sick of my hair..it's so...black!

Well, the answer to that question is rather obvious....you technically shouldn't do it, if you're not supposed to :razz: ...

Just thought I'd comment, though...I know people who purposefully die their hair black... :roll:

dye it pink. I'm completely serious. A close friend of mine used to do it, looked great on her.

my hair has been everything from blond to red to pink to black at one time or another

you have to make the decision yourself, but seeing that you're only 14, your mom is in charge of you, and if she doesnt want you to dye your hair, i'd think twice about doing it.

Don't dye it. Use henna!! I works wonderfully (even though you do have to leave it on for 8 hours) and it's a natural conditioner. Besides, hair dyes have so many cancer causing nasties in them *shudder*

Just get a new haircut! Seriously, some people would kill for black hair- if you dye it it might never go back to its original colour. You can't guarantee that any other colour would suit you, and your mum would kill you anyway! Also, if you wanted a bright colour you would have to bleach your hair which would SERIOUSLY damage it.

If its long, cut it short- it can look REALLY nice. If its short start growing it out and see what happens.

Oh yeh I heard that too-nasty!!

Don't dye your hair!!! Your natural colour is so beautiful, and also dying it seriously makes hair dry!

Nah, dye it blue :D
The only people I've ever seen pink look good on is Pink and Gwen Stefani.

Or you dye it white like my friend did once.  :?

Well actually I was thinking of dying it a sandy-blonde color (not bleached blonde), with those new Maxim hair color thingies for men.

Maybe I'll just cut it, although it's not really "long" now.  But maybe a little snip would make it look better.
