Title: Microsoft Beta Test E-mail
Post by: tylor2000 on May 13, 2004, 05:08:21 pm
Is this for real?  I received an email with much more than this on it, but here is the important part.  Someone I trust forwarded it but who knows......

Noooo....I really don't think so. It seems insane. But I believe that would be one of their virus things. The one that they get the address of all your friends in your address book and something like that...Maybe I'm wrong, but who knows...I wouldn't mess with it..

Nah, I don't think it's for real.  C'mon, $245 for each person??????  I highly doubt it.

When you forward this e-mail to friends, Microsoft can and will track
it (If you are a Microsoft Windows user)

This would plunge Microsoft into an invasion of privacy nightmare. They'd never even consider it.

Geeze... that is so friggin absurd. Why would a semi-conductor company and a ISP that is going down the pipes want to merge?

Knowing law has no relevance to this. I know it's a lie anyway.
