Title: Rookie of the Year
Post by: PIBby on May 15, 2004, 07:04:54 pm
Awesome band. I saw them earlier tonight. They sound like Dashboard Confessional or Something Corporate, or other emo-rific bands these days. The lead singer who is SO my best friend plays acoustic guitar and has an awesomely amazingly good voice. Plus, he screams at points when he wants to stress something, which is good. The bassist is hot and is even HOTTER when he's playing and singing back-up. I swear to Bonjangles, I almost died when he was playing, and I don't know why. NO ONE ever does that. And he had a Yankees shirt on, and I, of course, had to tell him that I liked his shirt. Look into them. Very the-offspring-of Dashboard Confessional/Thursday/Taking Back Sunday.

Because I'm listening to them right now, I'm bumping this thread.  I didn't think there even would be a thread for them on here... been really into them for the last year.  Saw them a few months ago and they were absolutely amazing.  They played at This Day & Age's farewell show... tear.
