Post by: Alecs on June 27, 2004, 09:52:27 am: This band is probably gonna be huge. I may be wrong but they sound really good. Their video was well produced. Nice colors. Their single "Somebody Told Me" is catchy. Something about "I heard your boyfriend looks like my ex-girlfriend that I dated February of last year..." It's a great song! I'm really curious to hear the entire cd.

Post by: Alecs on September 16, 2004, 08:18:53 am: bump for the Killers! They're from Las Vegas and kicking ass. They are playing live in Austin this weekend in the Austin city limits festival with a zillion other rad bands like Franz Ferdinand, Medeski Martin & Wood and others.

By the way, there's a new remix of "Somebody Told Me" that's electronic and it's good too. :)

Also, they are gonna be on my fave tv show "The O.C." December 2nd, according to the new Blender magazine. :wink:

Post by: Laura on December 26, 2006, 02:44:02 pm: their new album is amazing.. has anyone heard it? its called sam's town. i was never really interested in them before i heard this album, but man i wish i was. i havent been this excited over a rock band since the low millions & there's not one song I don't like, which is extremely rare for me.

Elton John actually lists them as one of his inspirations on his newest cd that came out this year. i bought both of their cd's at the same time, weird how that happened.

I'm going to their Orlando show tonight. It's my first Killers concert, sooo...anyone know what I should be expecting? This includes the seating/standing. I know that I have a general admission standing ticket, but there isn't push-moshing and such at Killers concerts, are there? That'd definitely be an odd surprise :lol:

I joined their official fan club (the Victims) and they sent me a t-shirt and it's all well and good, but-
I must admit, nobody can trump the NESSAholics. This is the only forum I find myself coming back to. Others are too crowded and...just messy. I don't know how to explain. Everyone is so nice here and most know each other. It's cozy...it's like home, even though I haven't been a member nearly as long as most of you guys. I've loved Vanessa since A Thousand Miles, and I have never stopped loving her, so it's great to have found a place where I can socialize with other people who have the same interests.
Aw, I'm gonna shut up now.
Yay for all the NESSAholics of the world!

It's terrific. Their 'Live from the Royal Albert Hall' DVD comes out in November; I can't wait!
I'm really, really, really hoping I can go see them in Abu Dhabi on the eighth of December....
