Title: One more H-song
Post by: saphire on July 04, 2004, 06:47:38 am
Look at this interview. She’s talking about a song that no one has heard before so maybe this one will be the 9th or 10th on harmonium. Does anyone know more about that song out of other interviews

T: What is the most complicated classical composition on the piano that you've ever played?
V: Of mine?
T: Yeah.
V: Oh! There's actually two new songs on the album that no one's ever heard before. One's called--well it was at first called "Interlude" which I stole from an old song (A Thousand Miles) and then Stephan renamed it "Quaylude," and right now it's being called "Quail Dude Squaw," but that's not gonna be the name of the title of the song (things get a little crazy in the studio)! That song is really hard to play, Papa's hard to play, I don't know. But I pretty much alter all my songs so I can play them. Cheat. Accommodate myself. Probably a little more than I should.

Yeah, this one is the one that Kulp and I have been calling "Unknown" on the list....however, notice she says that there are "two new songs that no  one's heard before". This was before White Houses and the 2nd Blizzard song, so on Harmonium the tenth one that we don't know about could either be "Quaylude" or the second one she mentions here.

that interview was done by our own Katia and Tricia.  Check out the main news page of the site for it. Also the question and answer doesn't go together.

Yeah, that was my question!    :)   It was probably too much to ask.  She really did answer it actaully, if not directly and how I invisioned it.  It is kind of a revealing question on how good at the piano she is.

I so appreciate Katia, Tricia, and Vanessa for that.  I was waiting forever for an answer to that question.  I should probably be less curious.
