It's gone because it was pointless with no opportunity for further discussion (i.e. postwh0ring). See rule 5.

I wasn't trying to be a 'post whore'.  I was just wishing happy birthday to someone, just like a lot of other users are doing.  I don't see anything wrong with it at all.

That may be so :) But it was still a pointless thread intentionally or not. There's no point in keeping it around cluttering the board. It happens, rest assured that it's nothing personal. (Note: I don't/can't speak for the mods, I'm guessing as to why it was removed)

I made a new topic, wishng happ y birthday to 'abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz'--a member from the mesage boards.

It was gone since yesterday!
