do you find most interesting?
I find Russian history facinating!
-
China
But chinese culture has always facinated me.
-
China, Japan, England like back in the days of the knights.
-
Egyptian history! oh yeah and American history...duh...
-
Egyptian history!
-
Egyptian history!
What's so odd about Egyptian history? I love Roman history...and any Victorian history is always great; I swear I was supposed to be born in the 19th Century
-
Egyption and Roman history.
I LOVE history!!!!
-
I love how these people are saying American history! As if it should count as being valid!
No, I'm kidding. Just because the "founders" of America were unjust and killed hundreds of thousands of innocent people doesn't mean its history is invalid! Many other Europeans killed people but their wars were more balanced.
Besides that . . .
I know this isn't a country, but Western European civilations and histories are fucking AWESOME.
'Specially France. :)

I believe it was just one person Cece. me....I feel negitive vibes :argue:
-
Vibes. Yes, vibes.
-
I'm not really a history buff or whatever but i actually fnd American History pretty cool.
-
My dad is a history teacher so i'm a bit bored of history, lol. I live in a town that has SO much history aswell, so i'm kind of used to it. My town has:
-an iron age hill fort
-The Round Table (King Arthur is based around where i live)
-A 900 year old Cathedral
-Wolvesey Palace
-One of the oldest schools in England
So yup, if anything i find greek history the most interesting because of the political background and the way they organised their society.
P.S Just to let you Americans know, we're not still hung up about the Revolution- though you think we are.

Actually, I'm still quite bitter about it.

Although (if I have this right) America wasn't an independant nation by that point. So, technically, we beat ourselves ;-)

If you threw our tea in the boston harbor...I think I'd be upset too...silly taxes

Can't everyone just hate the American patriots for what they did to Indians? It would make everything a lot better. :D
-
And Columbus for raping the Indians.
-
Exactly. He's one of my favourites . . . to hate.
Let's not forget Lewis and Clark who DIDN'T want Sacajawea to be recognized in her AMAZINGLY HUGE role in getting them across America. Their asses would have been (rightfully) killed if it weren't for her. Plus, they killed hundreds of Indians to claim the Indians' land as America's.
Assholes.

Spanish :D
European history in general amazes me. I <3 Europe and what interests me the most is the development of relations amongst European countries throughout the centuries.

No one else find Russian history interesting?
I think it is! I love learning about people and things like:
Peter the Great
Ivan the Terrible
Catherine the Great
The Romanoff’s
Rasputin and Alexi
The Communist era
Lenin
The Hermitage
The Kremlin
The Cold War with the US
Etc… it’s all really fascinating.
-
Rasputin was crazy...we did a CSI in history and found out how he really died. It was fun
and stalin and Lenin were interesting people but other than that Russian history bores me.

Catherine the Great died because she was having sex with a horse and it fell on her. lmao... see, Russian history is interesting!

Catherine suffered a stroke at the age of 67, inside her water closet. She was discovered by her maid, lying on the carpet against her commode. Then doctors tried to bleed her but,it was too late. That's how she died.

Yep. The horse thing is a myth. There is another myth that she died on the toilet. All false.
