Oh my god, I heard her song, "somebody" on Launch Cast Love station, and I loved it.
I was constantly waiting to hear it again, and when I did I wrote down all the info their was about her.
She has such a beautiful voice.

Her song is "Somebody" you might have heard it from the movie, "Win a Date With Tad Hamilton"
Its a great song and you MUST check her out.
On her site you can listen to her songs, its a little player that where you can listen to like 4 songs and it has a bunch of stuff that you can do involving her.
Join her e-mail list (if you want, please!!!), your going to love her.

Yup I've been a huge fan of hers for a long time. Her record is FINALLY coming out in August, after many years of recording and recording more and then recording more... You can buy her 4-track EP at iTunes. I was obsessed w/ it in January and listened to it ALL the time. Her album is going to be amazing.

pretty sure the release date is August 24. her site isn't updated all that often, unfortunately.
there's an extra track on iTunes too, the acoustic version of "somebody" and a new remix of it for the album. i think the 2 album verstions are slightly different.

yeah, there will be. they're working on it. there aren't many members yet, but i think when more join it'll be more active w/ missions and stuff. the main thing now is getting people to join and support her. that will help her more than anything.

When I was hanging out with my friend in Seattle she was telling me about this great song, and she played it for me, it was by Bonnie. I said, where is she from, she said she didn't know and then low and behold she was from Seattle, I said duh, you could have probably caught a show here. Anyhow...
I forgot about it until today when an old family friend was trying to tell me about this Bonnie person who her daughter was best friends with and they used to sing together in talent shows or something and now has a record deal and song on the radio. I said Bonnie McKee?
So yeah, she grew up here. Cool, huh?
Btw, I did like her sound when I heard it in Seattle. I will check out more tomorrow when I have a better connection.

I am in love with Bonnie McKee now! Her album, Trouble is beautiful! Everyone should pick it up.
If you can imagine it...she is a mixture of:
Tori Amos + Christina Aguilera + Fiona Apple + Vanessa Carlton + P!nk
That's a damn good batch in my opinion.
She is so unique though, but she has similarities to the artists I listed. She is encredible. Her voice is gorgeous and her writing is phenomenal. The music is so awesome as well.
