nice job

thanx so much guys! :D
i'll give the chords first. because really the right hand is just the lyrical melody so anyways.. i'll build out the chords for you
F A C, then playing on that same A in the chord before is A C E, then playing on the G above the F on the first chord is G B D and then the F A C chord again so those chords go along with the lyrics. "It's alright, and it's nice not to be so alone etc."
then the "white houses" part goes like this:
in the right hand is what vanessa sings which is
G-E-D but put a C below each of those notes
and the left hand just plays this chord built of the notes: C-G-C
then the little piano break before the bridge is:
right hand: (eight notes) C to the C below it twice. G down to the low C twice, then E to the low C twice, then D to the low C twice
so that all looks like this:
C^ - Cv - C^ - Cv - G - Cv - G - Cv - E - C - E - C - D - C - D - C ( that's all decending from the high C in the right hand)
for the left hand it's just playing a C octave in eigth notes mathing the right hand
so you repeat that line twice ^^
then in the right hand are eight notes:
E-E-C-C-B-B-C-C then C-C-B-B-E-E-D-D
then back to the chorus
this is just to get people started. i doubt anyone can figure out this anyways. lol. i'm sure someone later on will figure the song out and have a better way to post the music. i have finale but i don't know how to do a screen shot of the music on my computer...

Thanks Amanda, for posting your rendition. It sounds great!

Amanda, I need the "can't resist the day" part for the MIDI. I figured out the piano part by myself, then I figured out how to read yours, lol.

I don't have the software to convert MP3 to MIDI :o and I haven't been able
to d/l demo software  that can record the 14-15 seconds of the little piano
break! If you already have that in MIDI - then you could download a copy of:
Ringtone Converter/Composer (http://www.mp3towav.org/ringtone-converter/) :P

Wow, Amanda that was truly amazing! You are extremely talented. Your notes match mine which is good, it's quite a simple melody to play by ear, and thank you for posting it up! xoxo
-
yeah...it IS very easy to play by ear... i didnt even need to use Amanda's notes. just listened to the recording and voila. But it IS an awesome recording. she did a good job. Amanda, i mean. Well, VC did an awesome job too...lmao i'll shut up now
-
thanx so much guys :D
lol @ Chloe, yeah, i know what you mean. thanx :D
Amanda

Yeah it was cool...but i have a few corrections which i think are the real notes.
In the verse it goes like this:
(V = lower note. ^ = higher note)
All 8th notes!
Crashed on the floor when i moved in
this little bungalow with some strange new friends:
RH: All notes are decending from the high C.
C^-CV-C^-CV-G^-CV-G^-CV-E^-CV-E^-CV-D^-CV-D^-CV.
LH:
CV-C^-CV-C^-CV-C^-CV-C^-CV-C^-CV-C^-CV-C^-CV-C^-
(X2)
Stay up too late and i'm too thin
We promise each other it's 'till the end:
The play same right hand with B in left hand in same style as the C of the first bit.
Now we're spinning empty bottles it's the five of us
With pretty eyed boys girls die to trust:
(Come down to the high E above middle C, and move from that to the E above middle C.
So..)
RH:
E^-EV-E^-EV-C^-EV-C^-EV-B^-EV-B^-EV-C^-EV-C^-EV.
LH:
AV-A^-AV-A^-AV-A^-AV-A^-AV-A^-AV-A^-AV-A^-AV-A^.
(X2)
The summer's all in bloom:
Come down to Middle C (V) and the C above (^) The E is the HIGH E ABOVE MIDDLE C (u'll need to do jumps if your fingers aren't long enough!)
RH:
C^-CV-C^-CV-C^-CV-B^-CV-B^-CV-B^-CV-E^-CV-E^-CV.
LH:
GV-G^-GV-G^-GV-G^-GV-G^-GV-G^-GV-G^-GV-G^-GV-G^.
The summer's ending soon:
Go up to High E above middle C and E above middle C.
RH:
E^-EV- E^-EV- E^-EV-D^-EV- D^-EV-D^-EV- D^ (Half note!)
LH:
GV-G^-GV-G^-GV-G^-GV-G^-GV-G^-GV-G^-GV (Half Note!)
then to the chorus which is same as manda's.
Lol.
Hope this helps.
