Well, it seems that no one's made a topic about her work yet, so I thought I'd start one...

Anne Rice is a very accomplished American author; she writes mainly vampire novels, hence I love them :P I've read Interview with the Vampire and The Vampire Lestat, and I'm now on to Queen of the Damned. Though I don't agree with some of Anne's politics and some of the borderline sensual-erotic stuff that she puts into her work, the main storyline and the vampires et al are all worth it.
Interview with the Vampire and Queen of the Damned have also both been made into movies. I've seen Interview, and I'll probably see Queen of the Damned after I finish the book.
Just some random info, I think that both Vanessa and Amy Lee have said in interviews that they like Anne Rice books.

I finally finished reading Interview With A Vampire don't ask how long it took me to read it. I am currently reading The Vampire Lestat. I hope to have finished reading it in the next few months.
I mostly read to put me to sleep. I should be doing that now actually instead of being here.
Which book is after Book II? Is it queen? I didn't see that movie either.

Yep. Queen is the third book. And after finishing the Vampire Lestat, I had to read it, since it follows up on all the origins of the vampires stuff that's introduced in Lestat.

I read QoTD. Good book.
The movie sucks so much ass, I don't know what to say. :( The only good thing was Aliyah was in it, but :| What a horriblle movie to be your last. Just like Raul Julia and Street Fighter. :?
