Okay, so I'm going to see my Navy recruiter tomorrow and I'm sooo excited!!!
The United States Navy :D
which would you be in:
The Navy
The Army
The Marines
-
You forgot the Airforce. I would say none. Have fun in the armed forces.
tylor
-
I'd join the Harmaniacs.
-
The Marines!!!!!!!
-
M a r n i n e s ... hmm...
I picked none.
-
none whatsoever...i may be crazy but i am never going to join one of those things...haha ( even though it doesnt seem like much fun) have fun anyway and goodluck..
but may i ask you one question , why are you deciding to join the navy? is it something you always wanted to do? etc. just wondering.....
-
well for a long time I always wanted to go to Colorado State.
But now as a Senior I dont know if I want to go straight to college, and work at a dead end job trying to make money to pay for my four years, and then when I'm out of college I'll pretty much be in debt and paying back loans.
when I can go to the Navy, boot camp for 2 months then things run smoothly from there, they said I could have a job working with computers and I could get stationed in hawaii or Italy or somewhere else.
four years of being apart of something really great for our country.
and I get benefits as I get older and they pay for 100% of my college tuition.
I get 30 days off each year with paid vacation.
and a lot of travel and bonus money. :D
I'm not positive I'm going but I have a little bit of time to think it over and tomorrow when I talk to my recruiter he'll answer any of my questions and I think I'll have a pretty good idea if I will go or not.
sounds pretty good to me.

-
a nun, how funny. :P
boot camp is all about intimidation.
my uncle and some friends I know who are still in the Navy have answered some of my questions, mostly about boot camp.
(we get LOTS of shots. 8O)

o.0 you don't hate needles, do you? Heh... I don't know if I could stand getting so many shots. And you might get a smallpox one that leaves a scar... I think the military still gets those? Not sure...
-
I hate needles.
hopefully we dont have to get many... :?
-
I wouldn't like to be in any. I couldn't take the discipline of boot camp.
But good luck to you Manda <3
-
thanks.

Good Luck, I hope you get in! I admire your service! I think I would join the airforce as a non-pilot (I don't have 20/20 vision so I couldn't be a pilot. I almost applied for OTS for computer science.
-
I was thinking of being a pilot, but I also don't have 20/20 vision.
Oh well, I want to work with Computers or be apart of the Military Police.
:D
I'm joining the Navy, after talking with my Recruiter he even convinced my friend Nicole, she might join with me and if she doesn't I'm okay with it because I like what I heard and I know that I want to be apart of the US Navy.
the Army recruiter was next door to us and when he came in my recruiter said, "DON'T TALK TO HIM." lol it was funny.
I'm no traitor! :D
and I got all this cool stuff.
*salutes*

I majored in Computer Science:-) I am interested in working for a defense contractor like Lockheed Martin. I'm working on working my way towards obtaining that type of position.
-
None of the above. The only way I'd ever join the military is after I have my JD. Being a military defender/prosecutor might be interesting.
-
yvan eht nioj
...nah i picked none.
i really couldnt see myself doing any of that stuff. :|

The only way I would join the military is if there was a draft. And then I would go...probably to die. Or if the draft was imminent.
I have no problem serving my country, but I don't see the point of volunteering those kind of services when it is not nessesary for me to do so.

I kept thinking about the Sailors Creed when I left my recruiter's office.
I am a United States Sailor
I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States of America and I will obey the orders of those appointed over me.
I represent the fighting spirit of the Navy and those who have gone before me to defend freedom and democracy around the world.
I proudly serve my country's Navy combat team with Honor, Courage, and Commitment.
I am committed to excellence and the fair treatment of all.
- United States Navy - The Sailors Creed
Its so...so....beautiful.

Look, it's 'NSYNC!!..and Milhouse! Where's L.T. Smash?..heheheh
-
If I was inclined to do so, I'd join the navy, cause they get cool hats and there are plenty of sailors to harass.
-
the navy because i like blue. tho i don't think they wear blue all the time..
