There's always a bunch of errors. Whoever's writing the news and updating the site really needs to learn how to spell, lol.

Everything looks spelled right to me.
If you have a complaint about a specific entry, let us know what that is so we can fix it.
Also, this doesn't not belong in the VC section. I'm moving it to FAQ/Board Issues.
PS: Shouldn't it be "there are always a bunch of errors"?

Trish, I think you misread the post. The poster is referencing the Official site, not this one. The topic is inappropriate here because it DOES NOT reference this board or this site.

i mis-understood as well. I am guessing that is her label and yes, i've noticed the inability to proof read as well. I think perhaps they should hire tricia for the o-site.
(it could be misunderstood when posting on the forums that the official site is the "nessaholics.com official site" i.e. www.nessaholics.com...) ;)

You're in the buisness, I have heard. Answer me this: how the hell do the incompetants get hired every time?
I swear, it is not restricted to just music sites either. Corp sites are the worst designed. Non-profits generally have excellent sites of the membership is of a geekish bent.

Like you, I feel that, once a company hires someone and their ineptitude becomes apparent, the managers are in a spot. Many times, someone is an f up but not enough to be fired. So what happens? They are put in a place where they can do less damage(the more menial tasks). It is true of TV as well as anywhere. Firing someone, especially in our "eternal victim" politically-correct world, can be difficult, thus people with an IQ just north of a dropcloth stay employed for years.
It's also important to look at this as a record company would. I'm sure they see an artist bulletin board as a money pit, thus the unquestionably inferior board.
In this case, Fullerene most likely has a contract with UMG and/or Interscope, and short of the site failing 100% they can/will do nothing. Noone's bread is buttered by the VCMB.
That it is underutilized as a marketing tool is just a shame.

I actually DID pound out a verse and chorus of "Morning Stain" back when all this first happened. I had to dig through a pile of papers to find it. I tried to follow's Vanessa's style, but she is a master of lyrics not easily imitated.

Well, it looks like a newly designed Official site is coming soon. V says in her latest post that she just recently met with designers. We can only hope that they'll also groom the boards (I know, I'm dreaming).
