[review] (http://forums.nessaholics.com/viewtopic.php?t=7163)
Does anyone have any ticket info on this show yet? It's 8 hours from me but Im going b/c it's the closest one from Nashville lol! It'll be my first Nessa show and I'm sooooo excited. If anyone finds out anything please post or email me natbrad@earthlink.net I would be very grateful!
I was also wondering in general if Vanessa does any meet and greets or if there would be any chance of meeting her after the show. That's pretty much my dream to meet her, if even for a moment.
Thanks in advance,
Natalie

Well I found out it's NOT at the Lucas Theatre, she told me to try the Trustee's. I have an email into them, if anyone else has more luck, please post!

Ok guys,
For those of you wondering....Vanessa will be performing at the Trustees Theatre on the SCAD campus on 11/5. The person I spoke with said to check their website next week for all the info. So I'll post it here when they do!

No problem, no one seemed to know anything so I figured I start digging myself, luckily these people were kind enough to find some answers lol

Whew. Glad to know we finally know what's going on. Heh. I was stressing that I'd never find out exactly where things were gonna be and I'd miss out.
Thanks for the info.

Sup peeps.
Nothing againt y'all. Just got busy with school kicking in and shit like that. Plus, I got pretty tired of all the little kids runnin' round these parts.
LikeAShootingStar pmed me about the Savannah show and it lead me back here.
Y'all should definately come to Savannah for the show. I'm sure it's no more than an hour away for you both.
-
blast from the past for real! I miss yah....
I'd hit up Savannah but it's so out of the way from all the other places and it's more than a 4 hour drive from anywhere :(
-
THANK YOU!!!!
I didnt even look down and see this. I have been searching everywhere for this. I am going to buy tickets as soon as they go on sale.
They say you can charge over the phone-does that mean you can charge it and then the night of the concert get the tickets? And oh, does anyone know how much the tickets are or when it starts?
-
Savannah?!
Why couldn't VC come back to Atlanta? It's such a shorter drive

I just tried calling the box office early and it said on the recording that tix went on sale YESTERDAY but yet on their site it says TODAY. I guess I'll be able to tell in about 10 minutes when the box office opens. I'll be bummed!
-
it's been busy for 15 minutes...this stinks!!
-
Got some 8th row tickets. WOO HOO. It was busy for an eternity but she said they were getting slammed. So at least it's going to be selling good!
8th row was my cut off row. If I was further than that I wasn't going to make the drive so God was smiling on me hehe!
Let me know how you guys did.

JUST got 4 second row tickets! OMG i'm so excited! This is awsome because it's almost EXACTLY two years after I saw Vanessa before! (11.25.02)
-
I would have loved 2nd row. I've never seen her live. I wonder why I got 8th row then. That's why I hate calling on the phone sometimes they just give you what pops up first.
Great job!
I'm gonna go cry a river now lol....
Have you ever been to this venue...how far back are the rows?

Never been to this venue before... I just saw that she was coming (somewhat) close to Florida so I HAD to get tickets! lol Maybe we could meet up at the concert!
-
Sure sounds cool to me! I'm driving from Tennessee. It's about 7.5 hours. How far is it for you??
-
It's probably about a 9 hour drive for me... kinda sucks, but it's SO worth it! lol
-
Yeah I have no doubt it will be worth it. That's why I'm going. I'm just bummed I didn't get closer seats. I thought I had done good til you posted lol! What's your email so I can add it to my address book and we can chat closer to showtime. Have you met Vanessa before? I'm going to try and go early and maybe try and see if I can.

I HAVE briefly met Vanessa, and she is THE sweetest person ever! I'm going to try to get to Savannah by about 5 or 6, any later than that, and I'll freak out about being late! lol
-
I'll definitely be there by then. Some people posted here and said to get there REALLY early and stay late to get the chance of meeting her. So since this is my one shot I'll probably do all of the above lol.
On aim I'm ShannaChaleeFan and my email is natbrad@earthlink.net or latalieb@yahoo.com
Good thing we only have like 5 weeks to wait haha!
-
I called a few hours ago and got second row. How many tickets did you get? I got four for row B. Interesting...
It's only 45 minutes away from here--I got the hook up on this one. I'm originally from Savannah, so if any of you peeps want some info about things to do or whatnot, lemme know...
-
Well I'm pissed. I only purchased 2 tickets. Maybe she said row A and not 8?? Do you think If I call back they can tell me. Well crap they are closed now. I forget about the time difference.
-
That's probably it. You thought you heard "Row 8" when she was saying "Row A". But that's just a guess...
-
Turns out they were front row! Rockin'!!
-
Second row... seats 10-13... If facing the stage I'm on the left side, but I'll take it.
-
I dunno my seat numbers.....she told me they were in the center though!
-

Just got the tickets in the mail two days ago! Seats 1-4.
-
Got mine too. Row A, Seats 10 and 11...front row, center stage baby!
Can't wait!!
-
Is the show soldout? I hope not. I didnt think I would be able to go so I didnt get tickets.
Now it turns out that I can.
I am going to try to order this afternoon.
-
I don't think it is, you should be able to still get seats!! Good Luck!
-
Wow you people need to get buying :p
They still had excellent seats left and she said the back was virtually empty. Hopefully some of the college students fill the back rows up the night of the concert.
I got pretty close on the right side- (5th or 6th row)
I could have either gotten close on the right or left side OR several rows further back down the center and I chose the right side randomly because in my concert experience closer to the side is better than twice as far back in the center.
I hope they are good seats!
And I cant wait!
-
ONLY 4 MORE FREAKIN DAYS!!!!! I'M SO EXCITED!!!
-
OMG OMG OMG! PUMPED TO EXTREME MEASURES!!!
First time EVER seeing my babe V. Can't wait.
-
I am also going to the show. I was able to get front row tickets. I think I may have another one available. I was suppose to go with a friend and she cancelled on me yesterday.
I work in GSU. So Katia's Lover, if you want to meet up at the show or even stop by my office when you get a minute that would be great. It looks like I will be going alone if I don't find anyone to buy my friend's ticket.
-

How much would you want for it?
-
TWO MORE DAYS!!!!!!
-
My friend who cancelled on me put it up on ebay. Let me know if you want it. She posted it for 4 more dollars than the original price. I can get it from her if no one bids on it, for 25 bucks. Let me know if you are still interested.

Around 37 hours to go!!!!

Savannah Morning News
Vanessa Carlton, with Christopher Jak
Not to be confused with another brown-haired paino-playing singer-songwriter by the name of Michelle Branch, Vanessa Carlton was raised in a small town in Pennsylvania by a mother who exposed her to everything from Debussy to Pink Floyd. Her debut album, "Be Not Nobody," featured the mega-hits "A Thousand Miles" and "Ordinary Day." Tonight's concert is part of her nationwide tour to plug her new album, "Harmonium," slated for release on Tuesday. For the record, we think "White Houses" is the best song on the album. But a lot of the record is kinda annoying. Carlton's the real deal. She's no Ashlee Simpson. She can really sing. But her preference for the breathy baby-doll voice suggests she'll fall into the same trap Jewel did. That whole I'm-vulnerable-please-protect-me act might work on some unsuspecting teenage boys, but eventually all waifs grow up. If Carlton would take the time to sing seriously, she'd really soar. 8 p.m. Friday, $25-$15, Trustees Theater, 216 E. Broughton St., 525-5050, trustreestheater.com

I don't know about all that, but whatever - see you at the show.

sing seriously? wha???
-
I actually sorta agree with it. Harmonium doesn't come close to BNN in my mind. Seems like she did kinda fall into the Jewel crap...
I still love the music, but it's more for the piano playing than the lyrics and vocals. While BNN had great music, great lyrics, and great vocals Harmonium only has one of the three.

are you kidding? I think Harmonium has much, much better vocals-like 10 times better.
-
I'm not sure yet, but so far I still prefer to listen to her first album. Maybe I still need time to get used to the new album. We'll see.......she just seems a bit more frail on Harmonuim. Usually once you have been exposed to what she has been in the industry either you toughen up or revert back to needing shelter from others.

To anyone who went to this show: what was the name of the opening act guy? Christopher something, I think...
