"There was a machine designed for shredding plastic. Men were dropped into it and we were again made to watch. Sometimes they went in head first and died quickly. Sometimes they went in feet first and died screaming. It was horrible. I saw 30 people die like this. Their remains would be placed in plastic bags and we were told they would be used as fish food . . . on one occasion, I saw Qusay [President Saddam Hussein's youngest son] personally supervise these murders."
If you think this man should be allowed to have Weapons of Mass Destruction and Lie about them to the entire world. If you think we should just sit back and wait for him to use them on us, use them on his neighbors, or to supply them to terrorists. I think you are wrong, and I think it was essential that we stopped wasting time with useless talks in the UN and went ahead to stop this madman.
And we are NOT Alone!!! It's us and Afghanistan, Albania, Australia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Colombia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, El Salvador, Eritrea, Estonia, Ethiopia, Georgia, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, the Netherlands, Nicaragua, the Philippines, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, South Korea, Spain, Turkey, the United Kingdom and Uzbekistan. That's 30 countries, and there are 15 more that do not want to be identified publicly.

I voted indifferent. And it's not because "I don't care." ... It is just that I understand that it would be best for the entire world of Saddam Hussein is out of power, and also the longer people wait to attempt to remove Saddam's power, the more powerful he and his affiliates could become in fighting back. I know that many measures have been tried again and again, and Hussein has not complied. So in the end while I am not a giant war fanatic, I realize that going in and trying to force Hussein out of power the 'best' (and I hate to use that word, but I can't really think of anything else that will phrase what I want to say any better) option left, because it is pretty evident he will not comply with any mandates given to him.

I'd be wasting my time typing it all out........it's in another place all set to go, just go there and you'll see my thoughts on this. www.angry-nerd.com/articles

I voted for "Neutral -You don't care what goes on as long as your safe"
I do care, and I was VERY anti-war before the war started, but there is NOTHING I can do to stop this war, so why should I keep protesting? I hope they* find weapons of mass destruction soon though...I mean North Korea says they have them, and who do we attack?...
I am not anti-war for EVERY war, I am not a peace loving hippie (though that would be nice lol  ).
So if I would have seen this poll before it started I would have stated "no war".

where are those Massive destruction weapons ??
How many $$ was given to the listed countries ?
Do you know that Qusay had a firm working for Pepsi ?
by the way: i am happy that Saddam regim is over

I am definitely against war. What's the point of killing people? Where's that gonna get you? Really, think about it.
-
Bush himself said destroying life to save lives is wrong when answering the stem cell question last debate. What exactly was war again? Hope that doesn't constitute a flip-flop.
I'm not against war altogether, just THIS war.
-
It depends on the circumstances. I think now, after much thought, we should be in Iraq.

At the time, the intelligence said that there were weapons. And I believe the other night something came out saying there were plans to build weapons or something along that lines. I'm glad Bush took the aniciative to protect his country--and even if there are no WMD he ended Saddams dictatorship. If he didn't I'm sure somewhere along the lines the US would have gotten blammed for letting it happen...just like the holocaust.

War -Yea let's get it over with already

That's fine for an ideal world. I don't think anybody on the board would disagree. But it ain't an ideal world. For instance, do you think declaring war on Nazi Germany was pointless?

I think the REASON for the war was good, to help out those peaple ect...
But the way it went was totaly wrong....
And i think the Iraki people should get the power back becouse things are almosed as band there for normal people as they used to be....
Let them solve it....they can. im shure

I'm not against all wars but that one I don't agree with at all 8O
It's funny that at the start of this topic everyone was convinced Iraq had 'weapons of mass destruction'
and I know I'm a bit slow but I found out about the North Korea thing and it all seems so fake :? you can't use 1 excuse to bomb a country and ignore another, it's hypocritical

i voted no war.
